¡Uno de nuestros tours más populares! El Sani Pass Lesotho 4x4 sale de Durban y se detiene en la capital de KwaZulu-Natal, Pietermaritzburg. Su guía le dará un breve recorrido por la ciudad y visitará la estatua de Mahatma Gandhi por el Ayuntamiento de Pietermaritzburg. Después, el recorrido se dirige hacia las montañas Drakensberg y sube hasta el paso de Sani en Lesotho. Pasaporte requerido.
El paso de Sani es un camino de grava de 33 km que se extiende a ambos lados de los acantilados de la escarpa de Drakensberg en una serie de curvas cerradas en Zig Zag. La ruta comienza en el Sani Pass Hotel que está a 1566m sobre el nivel del mar. Viajará en 4×4 hacia arriba por la estrecha carretera que cruza el puesto fronterizo Sudáfrica / Lesotho, que está a 1968 m sobre el nivel del mar. En la ruta se abre el paisaje de KwaZulu-Natal mostrando espectaculares vistas de colinas ondulantes y vastos cielos. My driver and guide, Bule, was fantastic! He was punctual, friendly, and a pleasure to spend the day with. He gave me a comprehensive and informative tour of Lesotho and Sani Pass, sharing lots of interesting information along the way. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend him!
we booked a trip to visit Leshoto via the Sani pass. Disappointed because we spent literally less than 60 minutes in the country, and the whole activity lasted only 10.5 hours, although 12 was advertised. felt that our driver wanted just to get through the day as fast as possible, rushing back to Durban ignoring the speed limits. This time should have been spent more meaningfully in Leshoto, unfortunately
This tour was really good to go. The view and the guide were so amazing. Buy something you like at the supermarket and have lunch in a place with beautiful views of Lesotho. Great. I didn't like the feeling that ethnic villages were forced to shop or tip. Other than that, it was very good. I'd love to recommend it to everyone.

Bule was our tour guide and he was amazing! This was our first time in South Africa and he welcomed us and educated along the entire drive. He was patient and answered all of our questions while giving detailed information and stops along the way. We had such a great time that we were excited that he was our guide again the next day. The day started off warm but right as we got in the car Bule explained that it would be a lot colder on the mountain. He waited while my husband went back upstairs and got coats for us. So glad we did. This tour is great for families and people seeking exploration. We learned that only 5% of people ever get to visit Lesotho and we are now a part of that group. The drive was long and sometimes rough but well worth it. We felt safe and comfortable with the guide and are already planning our trip back and only plan to tour with Bule! The views are nothing like anything I've ever seen in my life. Be prepared to take lots of pictures and bring a backup battery for your phone.

It's a long drive but worth it to get a feel for Lesotho. However note, the drive up and down the Sani Pass is very rough and steep so is quite uncomfortable for an hour. Also, you will only spend an hour or so in Lesotho as the drive from Durban is around 4 hours each way. The scenery is great and very rural with spectacular views, but this depends on the weather which can be inclement and cool. So be prepared.

Fortune offered a fantastic tour to and from “the Kingdom in the Sky.” We learned a lot about Lesotho and the Basotho people, and the skyward drive through the Sani Pass was so scenic.
