Después de una recogida temprana en la ciudad de Panamá, viaje a través de carreteras sinuosas de la selva antes de abordar su barco al Caribe. Su primera parada es Isla Perro Chico, donde podrá bucear alrededor del naufragio poco profundo o simplemente relajarse en arenas blancas y suaves. Refrésquese en la Piscina Natural, un banco de arena rodeado de aguas claras, luego diríjase a Isla Chichime, una de las islas más emblemáticas de San Blas. 5 : 00–5 : 45 AM : Comience su aventura con la recogida en el hotel en vehículos 4x4 con licencia. Relájese durante las 2,5-3 horas panorámicas en coche a través de las sinuosas tierras altas de la selva. En el camino, hay una corta parada para baños y bocadillos antes de continuar hacia la costa caribeña.
Llegada al Puerto de San Blas 8 : 30–9 : 00 AM : Llegar al puerto para el check-in y la organización del barco. Si bien el proceso puede sentirse animado y un poco agitado, la comunidad Guna ha operado estos traslados durante décadas, y cada viajero es contabilizado eficientemente. Desde aquí, aborde su barco para un paseo de 30 minutos a través del mar Caribe turquesa hacia su primera isla. Durante el traslado en barco, el barco puede hacer paradas cortas en diferentes islas para recoger o dejar a otros viajeros.
Isla Perro Chico (Náufrago) 10 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM Pasa la mañana en una de las islas más emblemáticas de San Blas. Relájese bajo las palmeras, nade en aguas tranquilas de color turquesa o haga snorkel en el naufragio poco profundo justo frente a la costa. Este barco hundido es el hogar de peces de arrecife vibrantes y es una de las mejores oportunidades de buceo y fotografía para principiantes de la zona.
La piscina natural 12 : 00 – 12 : 30 PM Crucero a una barra de arena única en medio del mar, conocida como la Piscina Natural. Aquí, el agua cristalina solo llega a tu cintura. Pasea por las aguas poco profundas, avista estrellas de mar descansando en el fondo del mar y disfruta de vistas de 360° de un sinfín de azules oceánicos.
Isla Chichime (Parada de almuerzo) 1:00 – 2:30 PM Continuamos hacia Isla Chichime, una isla amplia y hermosa amada por sus playas de arena suave y excelente natación. Tómese su tiempo para relajarse, tomar el sol o pasear por la costa. El almuerzo está recién preparado en un entorno rústico frente a la playa, con su elección de pescado, pollo o platos vegetarianos, servidos al estilo Guna para una auténtica comida de la isla.
Isla Diablo 2: 45 – 3: 45 PM Su última parada en la isla es Isla Diablo, un pequeño pero animado paraíso salpicado de palmeras. Refrésquese nadando, tome sus últimas fotos del día o simplemente relájese en la arena antes de comenzar el viaje de regreso.
Paseo en barco de regreso al puerto 3: 30 - 4 : 00 PM : Regreso en barco al continente. Dependiendo de la logística del día, su embarcación puede hacer breves paradas en otras islas para recoger o dejar pasajeros. Estas pausas a menudo ofrecen vislumbres adicionales de la vida cotidiana de los gunas y las islas comunitarias más pequeñas.
Regreso a la Ciudad de Panamá 4:00 – 7:00 PM : Reúnase con su conductor para el viaje de regreso en 4x4 a través de las tierras altas de la selva. El viaje dura alrededor de 3 horas, con llegada a la ciudad de Panamá a las 7 :00, dependiendo del tráfico y las condiciones climáticas.

Sin esta información, no podemos recogerlo. ✅ El día de su tour, prepárese en el vestíbulo de su hotel entre las 5 : 00 AM y las 5 : 45 AM. ✅ El transporte se comparte con hasta 6 huéspedes por coche, y el conductor seguirá la ruta más eficiente para recoger a todos los huéspedes. ✅ La puntualidad es crucial : Si no se encuentra en su punto de recogida designado y espera en el vestíbulo, perderá su recorrido sin reembolso. ✅ El conductor intentará ponerse en contacto contigo a través de WhatsApp, pero no puede esperar más de 10 minutos antes de continuar hasta la siguiente parada. La mayoría de los conductores solo hablan español, así que planifique en consecuencia.

- POR FAVOR NO OLVIDES TRAER TU PASAPORTE ORIGINAL. SIN ÉL NO SE LE PERMITIRÁ EL INGRESO AL TERRITORIO KUNA NI A LAS ISLAS DE SAN BLAS.
- Tenga en cuenta que San Blas se encuentra en el territorio Guna, que es una zona indígena autónoma. Los servicios son muy básicos. Los Gunas brindarán todos los servicios turísticos, como preparación de comidas, transporte en automóvil y en bote, alojamiento y guía turístico. - OTRA VEZ!!! Por favor, prepárese para un viaje en coche de 2,5 horas en cada sentido (1 hora en una carretera y aproximadamente 1,5 horas a través de las montañas sobre carreteras con curvas! Por favor, no deje malas críticas debido a la carretera. Intentamos avisarte con antelación ;)
- Durante el traslado en barco, el barco puede hacer paradas cortas en diferentes islas para recoger o dejar a otros viajeros. Estas pausas le dan una visión rápida de la vida cotidiana de la isla, desde niños jugando en la playa hasta pescadores preparando sus capturas, agregando un toque de autenticidad a la experiencia antes de llegar a su primer destino principal.
- Si bien el proceso de check-in en el puerto de San Blas puede sentirse ocupado y un poco desestructurado, la comunidad Guna local tiene un sistema bien establecido, y todos los huéspedes son atendidos.
- El camino a San Blas es muy curvilíneo. Si usted es sensible al mareo, por favor prepárese en consecuencia trayendo medicamentos apropiados.

Beautiful islands, great service from start to end. The drive to San Blas was not as bad as expected. Once in the islands we were surrounded by a true paradise, unlike anything we have every experienced. Thank you Tao Travel fro making our Panama vacation memorable.

The views were amazing! The water was crystal clear blue. The food was horrible - overly fried chicken and fish. Fried so hard that it was barely edible. The bathroom accommodations were primitive. If you want tourist to keep coming they should clean up the place! The curvy road to get there was horrible. If I could have gotten an uber back to the city I would have asked to just been put out and let the others go without me. It should also be clearly stated that this is not a yacht or a catamaran boat. Nothing about this excursion is easy or relaxing or luxurious.
Totally worth it! We spend an amazing day in the San Blas islands. Not sure why others complain about the drive. We totally enjoyed the jungle scenery and we even stopped to take photos of a sloth chilling alongside the road. We will definitely be back one day to spend more time in this paradise!

What a fantastic time we had! Our driver was in contact with us and picked us up on time. Shared the 4 x 4 vehicle space with very interesting people. Everyone was kind and helpful. The drive to the port was quite an adventure with lots of twists and turns and potholes. Our drivers Lenny and Jose were amazing the way they negotiated the sad road— but it is being fixed!—all the while asking if we were okay, not feeling motion sickness, etc. Not a trip for the faint of heart but well worth it. The folks help you on and off boats—I’m no spring chicken—so nice to be able to stand in the middle of the ocean in February. Food was ok— locally sourced and cooked there. Lots of beautiful life to see even without snorkeling. Gorgeous views of the jungle and islands surrounded by turquoise water—spectacular! My only complaint is —gotta get the ladder for getting back in the boat fixed. I was a little nervous, having read some reviews beforehand, but now I’m so glad I went!
Bad experience with this 1 day tour in San Blás!! The Enterprise leads to an island that has no infrastructure to receive tourists, no seating chairs or sunshine. If you want to, you have to sit in the sand. Bad experience. the least I expected was beach chairs to sit and enjoy the beach, I'm not talking about a super infrastructure. I found it too expensive to have nothing on the island.

We clearly describe the tour in our listing and we include a San Blas disclaimer, which we invite all of our guests to read to properly prepare them for their day in the islands. A day tour in San Blas is a beautiful experience, when enjoying the paradise as it is (turquoise, warm ocean waters, sweet Kuna people, fresh lunch, coconuts and tropical palm trees with shade.) We do our best to provide the best service at the most competitive price and we are confident about the quality of our product. For those who expect a beach chair and umbrella during their tour travels, we suggest you inquire beforehand in order to ensure your particular expectation can be satisfied. Traveling to remote, pristine destinations such as San Blas are best enjoyed when arriving with an open mind and leaving expectations of comfort and luxury behind :)
I knew what to expect from the beginning. Yes certain parts of the ride, the roads were bumpy. It was the fun part for me 🤣. As for the meal (lunch), I order chicken and I overall didn't find it to be delicious. However the presentation was nice. Transportation to and from the port was simple.

We continually strive to educate our tour providers to cater to our guests. We also continually check on the quality of the food provided. We apologize if the chicken you ordered did not taste good to you. Please remember that San Blas is a very remote destinations, operated and managed by the Kuna who live a very basic lifestyle and do not have many amenities such as spices available. The lunch is spiced with salt and pepper and a few local spices and generally tastes good to our team when we visit the islands. We hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your tour and your stay in Panama :)

The drive there is absolutely treacherous and they do not plan appropriately so 3 hrs of just picking people up and driving involved through the most pothole filled streets. Then another hour and a half on a boat taxi dropping people off at different islands until you get to your island. Only a few hours to visit a few spots, snorkel gear all broken, severely molded and not at all sanitized between uses (saw them hand the one I just used to someone) and during covid that is highly disturbing. Not at all what was expected for such a high cost.
I love the islands, they were beautiful but it was very unprofessional with the driver. I had to call and be charge for international rates because we didn’t know the driver’s contact number or information as well as when we had a bathroom break the driver left and did not tell anyone and I had to call again and be charge for international rates. I want to tour or the excursion was over, the driver was late and we were the last people waiting out there for 20 minutes. I would not write this to anyone because of the lack of professionalism and communication
Hi Melissa, we are sorry that you did not enjoy your trip due to the driver not communicating clearly with you. While our car drivers are all well trained to drive our guests safely to the port they don't all speak fluent English. However, in your listing it clearly states that the transportation is in a shared car, which means that other guests will be picked up and dropped off. You booked this tour last minute, the night before. We accommodated you and organized the tour and transport for you within hours of the tour. In our booking confirmation and itinerary we ask our guests to be ready to be picked up between 5:15am and 5:45am. At 5:30am you texted us impatiently asking where the driver was. For guests who don't want to wait 20 minutes we offer a private transportation option, which would be more expensive. We understand your expectations on punctuality and we as a company strive to always improve our tours making them streamlined and enjoyable for your guests. We carefully select our staff and until your feedback in your review we have not had any issues with our drivers' professionalism. We will follow up with the driver and inquire with him about what happened that day and rest assured make necessary adjustments should there be a need for them.
