We went for the caves-only option (to avoid an early start for Merapi sunrise) and loved it! My 8yr old son said it was the best day of his life. Both caves were fun and both beautiful. I’d happily go again tomorrow!

It was a pleasure to meet a new friend on the tour. It is worth exploring the nature in Indonesia. Highly recommend going there.

Beautiful and well organized trip! Mount Merapi was beautiful at sunrise and floating down Pindul cave was a great way to wrap the day up. Bibis took us to an awesome coffee shop afterwards and was a wonderful guide and friend to us!

A good day, Pindul Cave was very pleasant, it was sublime and relaxing. And the guide was very friendly. The cenote and its descent were interesting, with beautiful things to discover; it is simply a pity that half the time is spent waiting for everyone to take their Instagram photo at the 'spot.' Also remember to bring a headlamp, as the guides' light is sometimes inadequate. All of this was made possible by Aguz, our driver, who managed the reservations, the trips, provided snacks, water, and ensured that lunch was served upon our return. Thanks to him and his good humor.

We had such a great time with our guide and driver Noe! He got us to all the activities safely and made sure we were accommodated for at each stop! He was a safe driver, great photographer, and shared with us information about the local community. We appreciated him as a guide and had so much fun at the experiences!

The tour was so nice. Sunrise at Mont Merapi is unreal and both the cave tours were awesome and interesting. All the guides were perfect. Our driver Wahyu was awesome! He was right on time and so so nice. Highly recommend!

What an incredible trip! Noe was our guide/driver for the day. He was already at the hotel lobby when we came down from our room waiting for us. Since we left a little early we were one of the first ones to get to the Merapi sunrise area. We were able to secure a good area for the sunrise and while waiting, we saw the lava flowing down from the volcano! I don’t think anyone else was able to see it. Both of the caves we visited was incredible. Noe made sure to take pictures of us when we were getting hoisted down the cave too. It was a long day but I would highly recommend it. Noe was very attentive and he was very knowledgeable of the area. It made all the driving around more interesting. He also gave us a great place to eat when we got back to the hotel and that didn’t disappoint either. It was an amazing day. Thank you.

We weren't 100% sure what to expect of each of the activities but ended up thoroughly enjoying the day. Jay was our driver (and Yogyakarta tutor) for the day and messaged us the day before collection to ensure we knew we were taken care of. He arrived a few mins early so we got to head off and arrive at the first stop on time. Make sure you have taken cash out the day before for the driver to pay for the experiences, and enough for tips if you'd like to show you're appreciation to the guides throughout the day. It's an early start and there's a bit of walking and steps etc throughout the day so pack some snacks for breakfast otherwise you won't eat until around midday. Throughout the entire day guides and Jay are proactive in taken photos for you either on your phone or on theirs and sending them to you so don't worry about not getting snaps. The first activity is a Jeep (4WD Toyota) ride with a local guide at Mount Merapi. Our guide was really informative and answered any questions we had. As it was still dark we were lucky and got to see lava/molten rocks falling from the crater! Once you've watched the sunrise over the hills you get to see alien rock and also get to learn about the eruptions in 2010 which devastated the local area. Next we headed to Jomblang cave, here you'll be given wellies and a helmet so make sure you've packed suitable socks. You're also likely to get muddy so bring spare bottoms or shorts. You're lowered with a partner down a 60m drop onto a sinkhole and walk through a cave to see the stunning beams of light from a connecting cave. It's a stunning sight as long as it's sunny up top but walking through the mud can be a little sketchy if you're not too sure on your feet. We then had lunch provided and they took guests vegan and vegetarian requirements into account, excluding meat, eggs and dairy where requested. We next headed to Pindul Cave where you will need swimwear or clothes you don't mind getting wet, flipflops or sandles, and a towel. A guide then takes you with an inflatable tube to the Caves and you have a leisurely relaxing float through and he points out the stalagmites and stalactites, and the resident fruit and insect bats. There are opportunities to jump in and swim and in May the water is a crisp green/blue colour. You then have a short drive to another river where there are more opportunities to swim and dive up to 8 metres high! The water in May was lovely and warm. Our guide did warn us that in busy times the queues at bottlenecks can be up to 30mins! Jay then took us home and we had a good chat about Indonesia, coffee, schools and all sorts on the way. Jay had only started learning English 12 months prior but it wasn't an issue at all throughout the day; he was great to chat with and teach us about Yogyakarta.

An awesome day trip tour visiting three different spots near Yogyakarta area! My guide, Mr. Jay was a great professional driver and the whole day went smoothly and safely thanks to his hospitality.
