En este tour tendrá la oportunidad de visitar los pueblos coloniales más pintorescos con mayor tradición cultural de la parte occidental de El Salvador. Comenzando en Nahuizalco, pueblo de costumbre indígena, reconocido por sus finas artesanías en mimbre y tule. Continuamos nuestro recorrido hacia Apaneca, el pueblo más alto de todo El Salvador, conocido por sus plantaciones de café. Aquí puedes hacer algunas actividades opcionales como la tirolina en bicicleta, o el laberinto más grande de Centroamérica. Terminando con el colorido pueblo de Ataco, famoso por sus artesanías, sus restaurantes y sus hermosas calles empedradas. Después de Ataco, haremos un maravilloso tour de café en El Carme Estate y Terminando en una parada relajante en Termales de Santa Teresa para disfrutar de las Aguas Termales.

La hermosa ciudad de Nahuizálco. En lengua náhuatl significa “los cuatro Izalcos”. En este pueblo tendremos la oportunidad de conocer uno de los hechos históricos que más han afectado el legado cultural e indígena de nuestro país. Disfrutarás visitando el mercado municipal, donde todos los días los vecinos del pueblo venden sus productos frescos. Aquí se pueden degustar algunas frutas tropicales. Nahuizálco es reconocida como productora de artesanías en mimbre y tule, utilizadas para la elaboración de canastas, sillas, tapetes, etc.
El último pueblo en la ruta de las flores es la pintoresca ciudad de Concepción de Ataco. Este hermoso pueblo es conocido por sus hermosos murales que adornan cada rincón de la ciudad. Tranquilas calles empedradas que te hacen sentir que viajas en el tiempo. Ataco es conocido por ser el productor del café de mejor calidad en El Salvador. Aquí puedes completar tu experiencia con una visita a una finca cafetalera, donde podrás descubrir todo el proceso de producción del café. Desde el momento de plantarlo hasta que se convierte en una taza de café
Aquí haremos un tour de café, visitaremos las instalaciones de una planta procesadora de café que funciona desde 1930. Entenderemos el proceso de transformación, desde que los camiones llevan el café recién cortado, hasta que se sirve en una taza en la mesa.
Luego de nuestra visita a los mejores atractivos de la Ruta de Las Flores, es hora de relajarse en un pequeño balneario escondido en las montañas, con hermosas pozas de agua caliente, de diferentes temperaturas, provenientes de la actividad volcánica. No olvides traer tu traje de baño.

Great tour with really nice tour guides. Got to eat pupusas, see the old colonial towns with the cobblestone streets
The guide was very good except for the fact he took us walking through a construction site on a street where there uneven, soft and unsafe surfaces which proved to be detrimental as I lost my footing on a soft spot and fell face first into a mud puddle. That nearly ruined my entire day and I skipped the coffee farm altogether. The guide took me to a local coffee producer/cafe where I could settle down some. Lunch was in a very charming restaurant. The weather was awful with heavy rain all day but that wasn’t the tour operator’s fault. We only got 45 minutes to enjoy the hot springs which I thought was unacceptable. I had very little time to enjoy the water and the others on our tour didn’t even bother to change and get in the hot springs at all because of the short time.

We understand how upsetting and uncomfortable that experience must have been, especially in such heavy rain. Your well-being was our guide’s immediate priority, and we’re glad he was able to support you after the incident by accompanying you to a local coffee shop to rest while the other guests continued with the coffee farm visit, and even personally purchasing a clean shirt so you could change and feel more comfortable. We are glad that the guide was able to help you during this inconvenience and responded appropriately. For context for future travelers, this took place in November 2024 while Apaneca was undergoing temporary municipal works to bury utility lines, which affected some walking surfaces, and the unusually strong rain that day made conditions even more difficult than normal. Thankfully, this was not representative of the tour under typical conditions. Regarding the hot springs, we understand your wish for more time there. This stop is designed as one part of a full-day experience before the two-hour return to San Salvador, though we appreciate that it may have felt too short from your perspective. While not all guests chose to enter the pools that day, that was their personal decision, as occasionally happens, and not due to a change in the planned itinerary. While we regret the circumstances impacted your enjoyment, we truly appreciate your kind words about your guide and are grateful for your feedback. It helps us continue refining the experience we provide every guest.
Osmaro was great. Explained all the places we visited and the history. He was awesome and I would highly recommend. Returned us safely to our hotel.

This tour was a great experience. My tour guide Josue Romero was very knowledgeable, I learned a lot about the Salvadorian culture. I also had a great time at all the locations we visited, including Cafe Albania, Ataco, and the hot springs.
My mom and I had a wonderful time on this tour with Osmaro. He made it a very enjoyable experience. Despite some traffic, we still were able to do everything on the itinerary without it feeling rushed. He even took us to a spot where the locals eat, which made the experience even more authentic (the food was delicious by the way). I 100% recommend this tour if you're in El Salvador!

Great time with Herbert. He gave us interactive information (so be sure to remember because there’s an exam at the end of the tour. Just kidding!) He is so nice, accommodating plus he was also our driver. Brought us safely from 1 place to another.

I can’t say enough great things about our tour guide, Herbert. From start to finish, he was phenomenal extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He made us feel comfortable, kept the us entertained, and added thoughtful touches that made the tour feel special. This was truly one of the best guided experiences I’ve ever had.
