Tour a caballo por la isla de Roatán

My sisters and I traveled to Roatan for a week-long vacation. We wanted to have an adventure, but stay safe. After some research, we found Charlie’s Roatan Tours and Excursions. It was the best decision we made for the trip. We easily set up several tours. Charlie responded quickly via email and kept in contact with us. Dario was our assigned tour guide, and that’s where the adventure began. Dario picked us up from the resort and gave us a tour of the island's east end. He shared information and history about the island, personal stories and kept us entertained on the longish drive. We toured the mangroves by boat, went through a local fishing village, and saw lagoons. Later that day, we drove by a giant pirate ship and stopped. It turned out to be an old night club. The caretaker came out and took us inside for a tour. It was amazing. My sisters took pictures and climbed to the top near the mast (Yes it had a mast). There was a 360 degree view of the island. Afterwards, Dario drove us to a local spot for authentic Caribbean eats. We continued the adventure the next day and rode horses on the beach. It was a perfect adventure, and we were in good hands the entire time. Thank you, Charlie and Dario! We hope to return to Roatan again and will reach out for another adventure...fishing!? This was a great experience! Directions to get to the driver were great. There are a lot of people trying to sell you a ride when you get out of Port. As soon as we said "Charlie's" they all started yelling for the driver that was waiting for us. We started by going to the highest point of the island to check out some shops and take a photo overlooking our ship. Then it was off to the Sloth and Monkey sanctuary, where we got to hold various animals and take photos. You can purchase photos at the end, but they also allow you to take your own. We then traveled over to the Horseback riding, where we went through the paths and eventually crossed the road to ride in the ocean. The guide was great and took our phone to take all the picture we wanted to us. He also answered any questions we had, gave an overview of the island, and let us take in the view. There was no rush. We ended with the city tour to the chocolate factory and rum tasting. These were basically just local stores, but still nice to see the city. Would highly recommend.

We spent the day driving around Roatan with Dario. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. He tailored the tour to fit the needs of our family (girls aged 11 and 13). The horseback riding in the ocean and the sloth/monkey tour was a hit with us and our girls. Would highly recommend Charlie's Roatan Tours as part of your visit to the island.

From the moment I booked with them , I knew it was going to be an amazing experience. They answered my questions with 100% accuracy. With detail instructions on how and where to meet our driver. Jorge was our driver and oh lord we taught we were first class treatment . He explained every detail of our trip and was narrating as he drove, explaining the history of the island. We are definitely booking with them again once we come back we had amazing experience.
