There are blankets that are provided in the boat, but I would suggest to bring a jacket because the wind of the water can be chilly.

The price for this tour was just right. Unfortunately, we arrived late. However, the tour company was awesome. We sat for a bit, had a drink and the tour company arranged for a tour just for us. The tour guide was fantastic. He was very friendly and when we finally arrived to the Daugava river, he even gave us other cool information about the city and fun facts about Latvia. Once again, I would recommend this tour and company to others. It was outstanding.

The boat ride was so nice and scenic even on a cloudy day, our captain was friendly and happy and the audio guide was entertaining! We got the roofless boat which was a plus for us because the views and pictures were better, we were close to the water and felt the nice breeze. Definitely good value for money!

Fun and better than we had expected. Got whole different view and experience in Riga than just staying in the Old town.

GPS and people in the neighborhood can't direct you to this location. There are closer boats, although slightly more expensive in town. This one is out past the marina but you can take three possible roads to find it and noone gave us good directions. The address they give you is not sufficient. We walked forever and finally realized we would miss our tour and gave up.

Like other reviewers I struggled to find the right dock. I booked through trip advisor and the address shown on my ticket, booking confirmation, and in the app were all the same and all, as it turned out, wrong. In the end, having realised I was in totally the wrong place in a strange city, I called and was given a maps pin. For somewhere I’d walked past 20mins before! It would be such a simple fix to make this available beforehand and would have made the trip so much better. Luckily I’d allowed extra time to arrive, noting the problems others had experienced. The trip itself was curtailed due to the storm (unavoidable) but what we did see was very pleasant. It would have been five stars, but for the lack of directions.

Nice little boat tour through the city canal and back over the Duna. The waterside offers completely new impressions of the cityscape and the historic buildings of the old town. We were lucky and were the only guests on the boat tour. The explanations about the Bluetooth box are in English and are drowned out by the engine noises, so one has to listen closely. However, the captain has plenty of tips and hints ready, suggesting that we would actually need to stay four days longer to cover everything. After the tour, I definitely recommend trying a Black Balsam shot. This is also considered an over-the-counter medicine here.
