The advantage of self guided tour is you can stop at any time. I had lunch at an indoor market (St Nicholas) great people watching, huge choice of cuisines. I then did the second half of 2 1/2 hr tour. Very informatice. I highly recommend

It was hard to pinpoint where to begin and then where to go to the next stop. After walking around & around, we finally just gave up and walked our own way.

We had a day to spend in Bristol between flights, and we really made the most of our time here thanks to this tour! We were able to take our time, improvise and take breaks as we wanted. Disappointing narration due to hard to follow directions, some streets not named and some had blocked access. Detours and errors made walk much longer than advertised. Gave up half way.

I'm always a bit nervous with technology so I was unsure about doing this tour. I'm pleased to say that the tour was very easy to use - even for somebody like me, who struggles with gadgets. The app was very simple, I was able to get the tour onto my phone and it was all easy to follow. The tour guide was very easy to listen to and she had a lot of good knowledge about the area. The tour took me a little longer than it said, but this was because of my mobility issues rather than the tour itself. Self-guided tours are good for me because I'm not that good on my feet, so this has been an absolute revelation for me. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone else, it was a lovely way to spend a few hours.
