Descripción
Nuestro recorrido por Wicklow incluye hermosos paisajes, edificios históricos, jardines, lagos o lo que quieras, dirigido por un guía local. Visitamos pequeños pueblos, zonas montañosas, casas señoriales y tal vez mi familia cultiva en las montañas de Wicklow. Podemos visitar Powerscourt Gardens (la entrada se cobra aquí) o Russborough House (la entrada se cobra aquí), conducir por el Parque Nacional de las Montañas Wicklow y explorar el valle de Glendalough. Aquí visitaremos las ruinas de la ciudad monástica, fundada por San Kevin y veremos algunas de las siete iglesias y la famosa torre redonda. Si le gusta caminar, podemos caminar alrededor de ambos lagos y disfrutar del espectacular paisaje y el hermoso bosque. También haremos tiempo para un agradable almuerzo en uno de los encantadores pubs o restaurantes de Wicklow. O una pinta de camino a casa....! Clasificados como el número 3 del mundo por National Geographic, estos jardines de 47 acres son impresionantes, tanto en verano como en invierno. Con lagos, estatuas, flores y árboles inusuales, ¡este es un jardín para todos! ¡Te acompañaré en un recorrido a menos que quieras estar solo!
Conduciremos por el Parque Nacional de las Montañas Wicklow, cerca de donde crecí. Espere montañas cubiertas de brezos, lagos profundos y oscuros, alimentados por arroyos de montaña y maravillosas vistas. Esta zona ha sido escenario de muchas películas: PD: Te amo, Vikingos, Valhalla y muchas más.
Recorreremos las ruinas de la ciudad monástica, visitando muchas de las iglesias que aquí se encuentran. Luego, si te apetece dar un paseo, subiremos por el valle para ver los dos lagos y el impresionante paisaje. Glendalough significa "el valle de los dos lagos". ¡Sería una pena no verlos a ambos!

En Irlanda, todos los automóviles que transportan pasajeros por contrato o recompensa deben tener una licencia SPSV, llevar un disco especial y un seguro especial, y tener un estándar determinado. Mi coche es un Mercedes clase E, con dos asientos delante y tres detrás y puede transportar cómodamente hasta cuatro pasajeros.

Dairine is an excellent tour guide. My son and I enjoyed learning more about the areas history as well as enjoying a wonderful hike with scenic views. We had an amazing tour of County Wicklow with Dairine as our guide. My husband was looking to trace his roots and Dairine tailored our day-long tour to provide history and stops & hikes of significant places pertinent to his family. We were looking for someone to take us around to check out family roots. We knew a bit, but not much, she did her homework beforehand and guided us to obscure churches and graveyards related to our search. She expertly drove on twisty turny back roads without a flinch. She took us the scenic routes when she could and my goodness, they were scenic!! She took us to counties and towns where the Leesons lived almost 200 years ago. It was a revelation! We even went to a 12th century Abby she'd never even been to, so she was really into it. To top it off we went to Huntington Castle which was a nice surprise and totally gorgeous. She made potty stops and coffee/ tea/ cake stops. And topped it all off with a beer at the dearest little pub. Oh! and she picked us up and dropped us off in a lovely luxury car. It was a perfect day. Don't hesitate to let Dairine make your special day REALLY special.

We spent two wonderful days with Dairine touring Dublin and Wicklow. She picked us up right where we were staying and took us on a lovely tour through Wicklow. The weather was tricky that day but Dairine was flexible and able to make our day magical even with some rain and wind. We toured the amazing Powerscourt Estate which was such a delight. Dairine is a wealth of information and a fantastic guide.

Dairine was awesome, she picked us up at the Cruise port on time in her very comfortable Mercedes. We had a nice drive to Powerscourt and she personally guided us through the amazing garden. We visited many other beautiful places in County Wicklow, lakes, mountains and historic places and had a delicious lunch at a very nice restaurant. She even arranged for us to visit a sheep farm and witness the gentleman and his sheep dogs work his sheep. Dairine’s personal knowledge of the area and the people made our day special. As a lifelong resident of the area, you feel her passion for County Wicklow.and the mountains. She also has a very good understanding of Dublin. We would definitely select her again and recommend to friends traveling to Dublin
