En este recorrido de 6-7 horas, visite la Catedral Madre Echmiadzin (desde el exterior), la catedral principal de la Iglesia Apostólica Armenia y es la primera catedral cristiana del mundo. Está incluido entre los sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO. También vea la iglesia de las iglesias de St. Gayane y St. Hripsime que se encuentran entre las tres iglesias en Echmiadzin dedicadas a las mujeres cristianas mártires que escaparon de Roma con su abadesa Gayane. Ambos figuran entre los sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO. La última parada es Zvartnots, el templo medieval de San Gregorio construido en el siglo VII. Fue uno de los edificios más altos de la época (45-49 m). Hoy las ruinas del templo se pueden ver en Zvartnots. Está incluido entre los sitios del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO. Este complejo escultórico conmemorativo está construido en el soleado valle de Ararat. Por alegorías representa la batalla armenio-turca en 1918 y glorifica la brillante victoria del pueblo armenio. Cerca de la entrada del complejo hay dos enormes toros alados que simbolizan la persistencia de la nación armenia y el callejón bordeado por cinco águilas conduce al museo de Etnografía con una rica exposición de la cultura, el oficio y la artesanía armenia.

We spent an interesting morning accompanied by our driver Gregory and with Mariana our guide. We went through much of the history of Christianity in Armenia with good explanations and knowing beautiful buildings.

Today is my first day in Yerevan, Armenia with a lovely guide tour, Meline and cool driver, Artur. We went to Voskeni wine, I really love Rose wine here (actually the best ever) and then we had a nice Gata class making in the restaurant closed to Maternal catheter which is delicious as well the lunch. After lunch, we were visited the churches all around and then back to hotel. So, thank you Meline, Artur and Hyur tour.

I was on a private tour with guide Tamara and driver Arthur to Sardarapat and Zvartnots on the first day and with Tamara and Vache to Gjumri on the second day. The weather was just perfect and Tamara did a terrific job in showing me around and telling me all about the history of Armenia and the places we visited! Our drivers were very polite and took us safely to our drop off and pick up points, we even stopped several times to take pictures on the way. Tamara made sure I felt completely comfortable and never rushed me so I could take as many pictures as I liked! I can strongly recommend to book your tours with a guide and driver from Hyur tours - I have done many trips with them and was never disappointed!

There were two tours. With guide Anna and Rose. Both are great. Unusual, interesting storytelling. The drivers are both great, too.

Took a private tour with Elizabeth (guide) and Gregory (driver) to visit multiple historic sites on the way to lake saven. Elizabeth was excellent- explained all the cultural and historic contexts and made the trip the best day of our week in Armenia
