El significado de Khor Virap "calabozo profundo" es un monasterio armenio ubicado en la llanura de Ararat, en Armenia, cerca de la frontera cerrada con Turquía. El monasterio fue sede de un seminario teológico y fue la residencia de los católicos armenios.
Una bodega con una historia espectacular en la elaboración del vino, que lleva el nombre de una de las variedades de uva más antiguas del mundo: "areni".
Noravank significa “Nuevo Monasterio” en armenio. Sin embargo, hoy este nombre no encaja, pues el monasterio ya tiene más de siete siglos de antigüedad. El hermoso monasterio de Noravank fue construido en el siglo XIII en la cornisa de un estrecho desfiladero sobre el río Amaghu, cerca de la ciudad de Yeghegnadzor. Las líneas de repuesto de la iglesia contrastan maravillosamente con los afilados acantilados de roca roja, y el paisaje dramático es una de las mejores razones para visitar Noravank. El monasterio a veces se llama Amagu Noravank, para distinguirlo del monasterio de Noravank en la ciudad de Goris. Amagu es el nombre de un pequeño asentamiento que solía estar sobre el desfiladero.
La cascada Shaki es uno de los lugares naturales más hermosos de Armenia, ubicado cerca de Sisian. La cascada cae unos 18 metros a través de un estrecho desfiladero, rodeado de acantilados rocosos y vegetación exuberante, creando una vista poderosa y panorámica, especialmente en primavera y principios de verano, cuando el flujo de agua es más fuerte.
Wings of Tatev es un cable de 5,7 km entre Halidzor y el monasterio de Tatev en Armenia. Es el tranvía aéreo reversible más largo construido en una sola sección, y tiene el récord de teleférico de doble vía sin paradas más largo. La construcción finalizó el 16 de octubre de 2010. El tranvía aéreo Wings of Tatev se encuentra en la región de Syunik, a 250 km al sur de Ereván
El monasterio de Tatev es un monasterio apostólico armenio del siglo IX situado en una gran meseta de basalto cerca del pueblo de Tatev en la provincia de Syunik, en el sureste de Armenia. El término "Tatev" suele referirse al monasterio. El conjunto monástico se encuentra en el borde de una profunda garganta del río Vorotan. Tatev es conocida como la sede del obispado de Syunik y jugó un papel significativo en la historia de la región como centro de actividad económica, política, espiritual y cultural

It has been my first private tour and it simply could not have been better. I was with Levon, who brought me site by site, explained the most important stuff for each place, and even went far beyond any expectation in Tatev. The goons at the wings of Tatev only wanted to sell me a one-way ticket rather than a two way ticket, claiming imminent bad weather (it remeaned strictly sunny) and probably wanting me to pay extra for the return. Lavon let me go up with the cable car, reached me in Tatev monastery even if he was supposed to rest, and showed me the place including a secret spot. On the way back we even briefly did Devil's Bridge even if it was not included. I could not be more satisfied by the guide.
This was a fantastic tour with Gor! It is easy to see how much he cares about his country, its history and culture, and sharing it all with tourists visiting. He is a true professional and definitively made this tour the best part of our trip to Armenia! Highly recommend!
Hovo was a great driver and brought be safely to all the interesting points. He also helped me to take photos! We had great conversations and I appreciate it a lot
This was a fantastic private tour. Hobo was a good guide. We drove at our own pace and saw all the important attractions. Hobo was fun and knowledgeable. This was a highlight of my Armenia trip.
This was an amazing day tour and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to travel around Armenia in a private tour. We arrived in Khor Virap and Noravank before any buses so we had both places to ourselves. Tatev requires a few more hours of driving but is 100% worth it, especially to see more parts of the country. Sergey spoke great English and shared his knowledge of Armenia and the sites with us, along with being a safe driver on the mountain roads. Don't hesitate to book this activity! Thanks Sergey!

Great trip from Yerevan if you have limited time and you want to see a lot of sights. Levon was a fantastic driver/guide/photographer. Defo recommend doing as a private tour rather than a long group tour

Excellent tour to some of the most famous places in Armenia. Driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Punctual and polite. The sights were worth seeing and instagrammable. Could not recommend this trip more.
