En un solo día, salga a descubrir el alma de Gran Canaria: 3 pintorescos pueblos, uno de ellos considerado uno de los más bellos de España, le abrirán sus puertas con autenticidad y encanto. 2 iglesias llenas de gracia, 4 miradores impresionantes, el pico más alto de la isla, donde el cielo parece al alcance de la mano. Elegir esta excursión significa elegir viajar de otra manera, tomarse el tiempo para sentir, para contemplar, para saborear, para descubrir la riqueza de los paisajes, pero también la del patrimonio local, histórico, cultural y gastronómico. Itinerario
Primera parada en un Mirador desde donde tendrás una vista espectacular de Playa Del Inglés, sus dunas y su faro.
Parada en Fataga y breve paseo por el pueblo. Este tranquilo pueblo, encaramado en lo alto de un valle, está formado por pequeñas casas blancas bien conservadas y pequeñas calles estrechas y floridas. Está rodeada de barrancos, pinos y un frondoso y singular palmeral.
Ruta hasta el pueblo de San Bartolomé de Tirajana a 890 metros de altitud. Nos detendremos en una casa tradicional canaria del siglo XIX convertida en museo. ((Museo cerrado en agosto y septiembre). La casa conserva el mobiliario original y otros objetos de valor pertenecientes a un médico que fue su propietario. Visitaremos los dormitorios, el comedor, la cocina, el horno y el cuarto de herramientas, la consulta de su médico, así como dos estancias adaptadas para rememorar las actividades económicas de la época, que son una sala de tejidos y una fábrica de aceite y vinagre. Después visitaremos la iglesia del pueblo.
Continuación del camino hacia el pequeño pueblo de Tejeda que recibió el premio de uno de los pueblos más bonitos de España. Paseo por el pueblo y almuerzo en un restaurante típico con tapas locales (comidas no incluidas).
Después del almuerzo nos dirigiremos a Cruz de Tejeda donde tendremos (si no hay demasiadas nubes) una magnífica vista de Tenerife y el Volcán “El Teide”. Cruz de Tejeda marca el centro geográfico de la isla. Parada para tomar fotografías y admirar el paisaje.
Luego tomaremos el camino hacia “el Pico de La Nieves”. Para apreciar la esencia de un lugar y empaparnos de su atmósfera, nada mejor que subir al punto más alto. En Gran Canaria, este es el mirador del Pico de las Nieves, justo en el centro de la isla. A 1.949 metros sobre el nivel del mar, tendrás unas vistas impresionantes de la reserva de la biosfera de la Unesco, con sus innumerables valles profundos y crestas irregulares, envueltas en vegetación y coronadas por espectaculares rocas.
Tras esta subida nos dirigiremos hacia Santa Lucía de Tirajana. Nos detendremos para tomar una fotografía de la Iglesia de Santa Lucía, un edificio histórico-artístico situado en lo alto del pueblo que destaca por la estructura de su fachada en hermosas piedras pulidas que, asociadas a la blancura y forma de su cúpula. lo hace único. Luego será el momento de regresar a su hotel para finalizar esta excursión.

Very enjoyable day trip conducted by Fabien. We were collected directly from our hotel at the allotted time, and given a thoroughly informative tour of the local mountains. The villages we stopped at were picturesque, lots of view points and plenty of photo opportunities. A complete contrast to the hotel filled towns by the coast. Fabien was a considered driver, car exceptionally clean and the perfect guide. We would not hesitate to book Fabien again, and would recommend his services. Thank you Fabien Davide & Claudia

We had a very nice day this week in the mountains of Gran Canaria. Fabien is a great guide and very friendly. His journey allowed us to see beautiful landscapes and villages, and his explanations helped us better understand local life. He was very considerate to make sure that the ride was suitable for my mom who is old (even if she moves well) and he drives very well. The lunch restaurant was perfect. I highly recommend! We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Fabien. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm and energy were contagious. He’s incredibly organised and kept us well informed about the arrangements before the tour. He’s knowledgeable about the island and shared so many fascinating stories and insights that we would never have discovered on our own. Yesterday we did private tour of mountains in Gran Canaria. Our first day we took a tuk tuk tour of Las Palmas so it was great to see the countryside. Fabien was our guide & he made a great itinerary for us with a stop in Tejeda for authentic Canarian food with almond pastries for dessert. Tejeda is truly beautiful village. We would highly recommend Fabien for this tour or any of his tours. He is so easy to be with & so knowledgeable about the island.

We spent an unforgettable day with Fabien! Beautiful landscapes in the mountains, visit of pretty atypical villages with interesting and enriching explanations (San Bartolome de Tirajana, Theresa, Pico de Las Nieves, Santa Lucia...) and in French 🙂!
