En esta excursión en transporte privado visitaremos la costa norte de Taiwán, incluyendo paradas en un curioso parque geológico con sorprendentes formaciones rocosas, un pequeño poblado con una cascada apodada la «Pequeña Niágara de Taiwán» y Jiufen, un pintoresco pueblo en la montaña que parece sacado de la película «El Viaje de Chihiro» del maestro Hayao Miyazaki.

Itinerario
Por la mañana os recogeremos en vuestro hotel y nos dirigiremos hacia la costa norte de Taiwán para visitar Yehliu, un parque geológico que alberga numerosas formaciones rocosas con sorprendentes figuras, fruto de la erosión marina a lo largo de los siglos.
Después de visitar Yehliu nos adentraremos en las montañas para descubrir la cascada de Shifen, apodada la «Pequeña Niágara de Taiwán». Una maravilla natural que te dejará sin aliento. Con una imponente altura de 20 metros y una majestuosa anchura de 40 metros, esta cascada ofrece un espectáculo visual y sonoro que te sumergirá en la grandeza de la naturaleza.
Por último visitaremos el fotográfico pueblo de Jiufen. Este pequeño pueblo está situado en la ladera de la montaña, y goza de unas impresionantes vistas a las costas del Océano Pacífico. Jiufen alberga un mercado a lo largo de su calle principal, donde podremos degustar las delicias locales – como los pastelitos de piña o un pastel de carne con pasta de arroz – y visitar los talleres y tiendas de los artesanos que se han afincado en Jiufen. El pueblo también se ha hecho famoso por las casas de té tradicionales que se esconden en sus serpenteantes callejones, y por los farolillos rojos que lo decoran, y que impregnan a Jiufen de un encanto especial. Pero no solo pasearemos y admiraremos las callejuelas, tiendas y espectaculares vistas sino que también podremos almorzar en una de las famosas casas de té con vistas privilegiadas a la costa y montañas que rodean este pueblo de ensueño.

Andy was very communicative with arrival time and knowledgeable about the sites visited. The car was comfortable and impeccably clean and well appointed. We had plenty of time to linger in places that were interesting and he even ended up sending us a car to take us to the airport the next day.
We had a great day exploring the North Coast of Taiwan. Andy is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history. The day was well-paced and we have a load of photos to commemorate our visit.
It’s a curated private tour experience with the convenience seeing sights at your own pace. Cristian was a very warm, hospitable, conscientious, and knowledgeable driver/tour guide. This is a perfect itinerary for a day tour, and I would definitely recommend it.
The Geopark, Jiufen and Shifen can be very crowded. Learning more from Samuel, our guide, about the sites were very informative and interesting. Samuel's knowledge of where to traverse made it more efficient. Would love to do another tour with him the next time we visit Taipei.
Wilson was fantastic! He picked us up at our Hotel and the vehicle was a Mercedes Van that was very comfortable for the day trip. He was very knowledgable about the locations and handled everything and kept us to perfect schedule. He also took fantastic pictures and compiled a great video for us at the end of the trip. I would highly recommend this trip if you are looking for great day trip. 5 stars for sure!

Our family had a perfect private tour with Samuel. He picked us up just as planned and made sure we had a great day. Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen are all popular tourist destinations and Samuel was well informed and navigated everything so we could just relax and enjoy what we were seeing. He was happy to adjust the plan a bit for us and we also got some really great pictures! Don’t hesitate to book this, and I think extra cost of a private tour is well worth it for these sites.

Got us to the right places at the right times and no hanging around for others. Just for parking in the right places and the restaurant booking it was worth the extra of a private tour. Geo Park, waterfall and Jiufen (sp?) all good and all different. Train St was a nice additional stop.
