We spent two full weeks in sri lanka experiencing a range of sri lankan food. Accidentally we visited Ceylon Cuisine, their restaurant for a coffee ans then we saw really nice cooking experience in their display. Luckily the next days slot was available and without a second thought we booked it. From hotel pickup to drop off, everything was well organized and carefully accomodated. Thankyou. We learnt eleven different sri lankan dishes. Sithara explained everything carefully with techniques we can use back in our home. After all dishes we discussed various topics over dinner table. Thankyou for taking us to your beautiful home and sharing this amazing moment. We left with our tummies full of delicious food and our hearts full of love, joy, and beautiful memories. What a wonderful experience and well recommended to everyone visiting Ella.

We had such a great afternoon at our cookery class with Sithara at her home. The menu was tailored to suit us perfectly. Sithara and her assistant were very warm and welcoming with lots of knowledge and passion for authentic Sri Lankan food and culture. After cooking it was lovely to sit with Sithara and her husband Upali to eat all the very delicious food. Would easily reccomend this cookery class.

We absolutely loved this cooking class. The pick up and drop off were so easy and everything we made was delicious. Our hosts took such good care to make it an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at Sithara's home. We learned a lot about how to cook different and delicious Sri Lankan dishes. And we're looking forward to cooking the recipes at home.

We had a fantastic experience at this authentic cooking class hosted by Sithara and her husband Upali. They both were incredibly professional and helpful throughout, and the fact they provided transport made the whole experience seamless and stress free. What really stood out was how authentic the class felt. Nothing was staged or touristy, just genuine Sri Lankan cooking taught to share their love of cooking with others at their home. We loved the wide range of dishes, all tailored to our individual preferences, which made the session feel really personal. The best part was sitting down together at the end to enjoy everything we had made, a lovely way to finish the experience. We would highly recommend this cooking class to couples, and honestly to anyone regardless of cooking ability. Whether you are a complete beginner or confident in the kitchen, the hosts make it easy, enjoyable, and memorable and we learnt all the tasty Sri Lankan dishes to order throughout our stay!

We came as a couple to the cooking class. The class happens as a family dinner. Everything is well organised, all the ingredients were prepared beforehand. It was easy to understand what we were cooking and from what products. It took us roughly 2-3 hours to prepare food, then we had a common dinner for 2 more hours. The hosts are pleasant and kind people. It was easy to find understanding even though english is not the first language for all of us. It was interesting to talk to hosts for different topics, even besides cooking. All in all it was a wonderful experience, I can strongly advice anyone to come to this cooking class - that might be your brightest impression of Sri Lanka, as it became for us.

It was such a nice evening. We felt truly welcome and learned so much about the food, Sri Lanka, and our Hosts. I am already looking forward to try some, or probably all of the recipes at Home.

It was such a nice experience meeting Sithara and her husband and of course learn about the Sri Lankian cuisine from her! I can truely recommend the cooking class and would say it was one of the best experiences during our time in Ella.

This is the best cooking class I’ve ever had. Sintara is a fantastic cook but also a great teacher and her husband Upali is very nice (and helpful in the kitchen). After the cooking, we had dinner with them and it really felt like spending time with friends.

The cooking class is an outstanding highlight during our vacation in Sri Lanka and it was such a good experience to get in-depth knowledge about the Sri Lankian cuisine from people who share the passion for food and cooking! Highly recommended for everyone seeking knowledge about cooking in Sri Lanka! The hosts made us feel at home, we had plenty of food which was amazingly delicious.
