Ella Rock Caminata Desafía a ti mismo con una de las caminatas más gratificantes de Ella. El sendero te lleva a través de pintorescas vías de ferrocarril, exuberantes plantaciones de té, bosques de eucalipto y un tranquilo campo antes de llegar a la cumbre. Desde la cima, disfrute de impresionantes vistas panorámicas de Ella Gap, las montañas circundantes y los verdes valles. La caminata de ida y vuelta suele durar entre 3 y 4 horas y es ideal para los amantes de la naturaleza y los amantes de la aventura.
La leyenda de Ravana Muchos lugareños creen que Nil Diya Pokuna estaba conectado a la legendaria red de túneles subterráneos del Rey Ravana desde el Ramayana. Según el folclore: Ravana usó estos túneles para viajar secretamente a través de su reino. El estanque azul era un lugar de baño para la princesa Sita. Algunos incluso creen que cámaras y tesoros ocultos permanecen dentro de la cueva.

Very sweet and kind tour guide! He gave me taxi to sigiriya from Ella for fair price and also stopped at the Dambulla cave for me! If you’re around Ella he sometimes helps out at the garden view cafe on the train tracks heading to Ella rock, please stop by here for a great lunch and the freshest juice after your hike, and support this small family business 1000 stars!!

We met Shasica randomly in Ella during climbing Ella rock. He came with a great idea of travelling from Ella to Yala, visiting safari and then travelling from Yala to Welligama. He was very kind and friendly whole time we spent together and the price was too very fair. Especially thanks to him we could see leopards end elephants very near and could spend in Yala safari arounf 11 hours in total. After spending few days with Shashica I am persuaded about his honesty and kindness.

Organised a safe and comfortable drive from Ella to Yala National Park for a safari. Excellent guiding experience. Driver was extremely knowledgeable about the park history and wildlife. Saw Leopards, Elephants, peacocks, monkeys and more. The driver even took us all the way to Mirissa afterwards for our next stay. Highly recommend booking in for a tour.

We happened to run into our guide in Ella, we had a conversation and he offered to drive us to Ahangama via Udawalawe National Park with a very reasonable price. Very chatty and lovely person, taught us about history, Sri Lankan culture and everyday tips and tricks about the life in the island

We spent a day with Shashi , our guide who took us from Ella to Talpe.He went out of his way to make our day very memorable. Stopping to look up close at a variety of monkeys , waterfalls and stopping for cake and coffee. He was also happy to go off route to take us to Yala national safari park to see leopards and elephants.He arranged this at short notice and ensured that everything went very smoothly. We can highly recommend Shashi for his knowledge , kindness and energy. And finally - he is a great photographer and took many great photographs ( animals and of us ) which he shared with us .

Shashi was the best tour guide I ever had. I was with him 2 days in Ella, and he customized my days based on my interests and vibe, which was absolutely perfect. We did some tourist attractions and some hidden gems , it was a great combination of different types of experiences and activities . He didn’t just show me sites, he shared with me experiences, knowledge, history, culture , community. He even helped me figure out a way to give back to the local community.. we were able to organize a donation of school supplies for children in the two days we were together. He showed me Sri Lanka in a way I would have never seen on my own. I highly recommend working with him. He will make your trip unforgettable.
