My daughter & I were visiting Paris for a few days in celebration of her 21st Birthday, a bit of Mum & Daughter time, had to include perfume in some form or manner.. after a little confusion on our booking, our tour guide immediately made us feel very welcome & amused. We learned a hell of a lot about perfume which our guide executed very well in his humour. The workshop was very generous with time & products to use, we have some beautiful homemade perfume to keep following this & continued onto a historic tour which I must comment didn't allow enough time to absorb the mass amount of presentations etc.. for photographs etc a little rushed as it appeared other tours were toing & froing around the other members of public on the free help yourself tours! Once downstairs we were sprayed to high heaven with everything, 'Fragonard', offers were proposed but we decided to decline as we had our own homemade perfume already. If we had not have done the workshop & taken the free tour we would have most definitely bought a more substantial bottle of perfume at the end. Personally felt it was a little overpriced overall especially as we could not return upstairs to take any photographs & absorb the history in a little more detail. I would price this experience in a £22pp bracket. We will however return to purchase a bottle of the original Fragonard scent as it is one of the most beautiful blends I have ever smelled.
This experience was so lovely! Our leader was informative, fun, and patient. She answered everyone’s questions with expertise and helpful opinions. Highly recommend this experience!
Very interesting! Time we'll spent AND I got to create my own unique perfume. I highly recommend this tour.
My wife and I recently did the Fragonard Perfume tour and she did the perfume workshop as well, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While it might not be a deeply intense masterclass, it is a fun, easy, and accessible introduction to French perfumery. She really liked the process, was happy with the custom fragrance she created, and even bought another Fragonard scent afterward. The absolute biggest selling point of this activity is its location and convenience. It is incredibly easy to bundle this with other neighborhood highlights. We paired it with a self-guided tour of the stunning Palais Garnier Opera House and a visit to Galeries Lafayette (including the famous Glasswalk). Everything was just a short walk apart, making it stress-free to navigate. It didn't take up the whole day, left us with great souvenirs, and made for a truly wonderful, seamless day in Paris for both of us!
Very cool experience for any mom travelling with their daughters, as I was. Learned a lot and got to walk away with a fun memento from our trip.
Short and sweet and really fun. Our guide was lovely and the setting (Maria callas old apartment !) is beautiful
Not a lot of time to look at items in the displays Not for men No discount on buying products after paying for making perfume
My daughter and I were amazed by this tour and perfume making workshop. I visited Grasse, France 20 years ago, and bought my first bottle of Rose de Mai. It was so much fun to share this experience with her and we brought home some great scents (favorites are Etoile and Belle Cherie). This is a perfect Paris memory and I highly recommend it.
We absolutely loved this experience! It was wonderful to learn about the scent-making process and 100-year history of Fragonard - and we loved making our own personal scent as well! Our guide was fabulous and so knowledgeable. She also spent lots of time with us in the shop allowing us to smell all the Fragonard scents we wanted so we could make good purchase decisions. This was a highlight of our time in Paris.
Such a cute and fun experience. We had an 8 and 11 year old boys and a 17 year old girl and all loves making a scent and learning about perfume.
