This is an excursion that shouldn’t be miss if you’re visiting Kauai. The tall guys were knowledgeable and fun. They made the whole experience enjoyable.
Our Guides, Ernesto and Michael, were great! Entertaining and very informative, they interacted well with our whole group, kept the atmosphere fun. We all felt safe and comfortable during the entire trip.
Awesome bike ride!! Ernesto and Tom were both amazing tour guides and coaches! Always made sure we were aware of any potential safety issues. Being comfortable riding a bike and going downhill sometimes with on coming traffic. Both made it edutainment by showing us local landmarks, bits of Kauai history about the land and the people, and entertained us with jokes and games. Kudos to Ernesto for the amazing photo opportunities and for taking the time to share with our group! Thank you to Tom for making sure we have traffic safety coverage!! The stories and knowledge going in the van with Ernesto AKA Julio, and Tom. The crew were kind and funny. They also took us off the trails for breaks and amazing photo opportunities. This is something not to be missed that ANYONE can do.
This downhill biking tour through Waimea Canyon was one of the highlights of our trip to Kauai! The guides were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on making everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. Their local knowledge and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. The bikes and helmets were in excellent condition, and everything was well organized from start to finish. The ride itself was exhilarating, with breathtaking views around every turn and plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the scenery. If you’re looking for a fun and memorable way to experience Waimea Canyon, I highly recommend this tour. It was an unforgettable adventure and a fantastic experience for our whole group!

Ernesto and Michael were the best! The pictures on the way up to the ride were great. Ernesto has some great camera skills and provided some memorable shots. First class service!!! The ride was a blast. I’m experienced cyclist, all road no mountain. My wife and adult kids, are adequately skilled but rusty. I was a bit worried that they wouldn’t enjoy it as much as me. The first leg is a bit more technical, but Ernesto and Michael kept the pace controlled. By the mid way point the whole family was riding confidently and having a great time. The 2nd half of the ride, Ernesto allowed us to pick up the pace and really get down the hill. Great ride, good times, and some epic pics (courtesy of our guides). Recommend for anyone with a party of mixed riding skills/experience.
What a fun adventure! Ernesto and Tom provided lots of info about the area, provided their photographer skills, made sure we all stayed hydrated plus provided a unique & safe downhill bike experience -with a van following behind. This was a super fun experience. I highly recommend it-40mph bike ride!!
Our guides were welcoming, informative, and experienced! The views were breathtaking and we were given enough time for taking it all in. We loved the downhill biking and felt very safe. We would do this experience again!!
This was a fun experience, but definitely not right for everyone. The drive up was beautiful and the guides knew great places to stop to see amazing views and take some great pics. That was a significant part of the time for the excursion. The bike ride itself was pretty quick and is the part that isn't right for everyone. Obviously- you need to be comfortable on a bike, but also riding on the road, downhill, fast. I was the 'slow-poke' of our group and still felt like I was at the upper limits of my comfort level. However, the guides do a great job making everyone feel safe and ensuring that there is always an option to ride down in the van if it just doesn't feel right. The young people had a great time cruising down! :)
