So lovely we had a very good time
Should have looked at forecast!!!!!
My wife and I did this boat trip recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat and the staff on board were excellent. We went one way and got a train back to Dublin. Thouroughly enjoyed our trip.
Friendly, professional crew onboard. Nice ride out to the Irish Sea. We went to Dun Laoghaire, where we had lunch and explored.
I went on the Dublin Bay Cruise with colleagues from work, this was a fantastic day and we got so lucky with the weather (although a little cold out on the open water!!)
Sorry I wasn`t able to take part
Great trip from the Quays to Dun Laoghaire on a Saturday morning. Great view of Dublin City and coastline.Friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend this - it only takes just over an hour and you can be back in city centre in under 30 minutes by Dart. Great experience.
On behalf of the East Meath Active Retirement Association, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Captain Cian, Gabriel, Ciaran, and the entire Dublin Bay Cruises team for helping to make our recent “Cruise and Hooley” outing such a memorable success. From the moment we arrived at the Dublin dockside, we were welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm by Captain Cian and Gabriel. Their friendliness, together with Ciaran’s engaging stories at the bar, created a wonderful atmosphere that set the tone for the entire journey. Whether enjoying the bracing sea air on deck in glorious sunshine, relaxing in the lounge with a glass of wine, or listening to the fascinating commentary on the history of Dublin Bay, every one of our members found something to delight in. A special word of thanks must go to the crew for their kindness and attentiveness to members with limited mobility, ensuring that everyone could participate fully in the exhillerating experience. Captain Cain and Gabriel’s willingness to stop for photographs—especially with an 89-year-old member, who was thrilled to have her picture taken with the Captain—was deeply appreciated and will be fondly remembered. We would also like to acknowledge personally, Olwyn at head office, for the care and support she gave us in planning our trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her help ensured that every detail contributed to what was, without doubt, the highlight of a hugely successful and enjoyable day out. Our gratitude to everyone at Dublin Bay Cruises. We look forward to sailing with them again in the future and to recommending the cruise to all Active Retirement associations. Lovely trip, great to see Dublin from a different view. Staff very nice and very helpful. Would go again and would stay until Howth next time, although Dunlaoighre a great stop off for food
Majority of staff are friendly and guide tour seemed genuinely interesting but you cant hear it below deck and on the deck was quiet crowded and you can hear parts think depending on wind maybe. The discription on the website says prams and wheel chair users welcome? But they are really arent I went with a toddler and 6 year old firstly you cant drive pram on, as plank is not wide enough I was told I have to remove child and fold pram how would that work for a wheel chair use no staff offered to help. You have to store pram where? Above deck in the elements I asked for it to be stored in a dry place told me there is no storage part way through our tour it lashed rain and pram got soaked. We were getting dart back to city centre so had to put toddler in wet pram for over half an hour to get back. We where exiting the boat and where asked by an elderly rude member of staff if we were going further to howth which I replied no we are leaving. The staff member said extremely rudely well then hurry up and leave Ive to count passengers I had a toddler under my arm and 6 year old in toe trying to get up a very steep ladder from the lower deck. We enjoyed the tour but these two incidents really soured it for me.
