A highly experienced guide. We went into the residential neighborhood and even went to the home of a resident who is a friend of the guide...far from the commercial aspect. Thanks very good
Very competent guide. Great experience. Highly recommended.
Francesco was outstanding! So informative we really enjoyed this tour. He took us to all the main hot spots. Recommended Great restaurants and other places for us to see. Would hope to have him as our tour guide again in the future.
Francesco was our tour guide and he was terrific. Because we visited in the off-season, we had our own private tour. Though our guide was not from Alberobello, he has made many contacts with locals to give a more personalized experience. His English is great and he really gives a tour that is informative and engaging. We walked away feeling so fortunate that we were on a tour this impressive. I would highly recommend this tour.
I toured Bari with Francesco; his historical walking tour was excellent. As the tour was perfect, we also arranged 2 other days to tour out to Matera on one, and Alberobello/Locorotono on another. In Aberobello, we walked about the neighbourhoods, and visited a trulli, depicting life as it once was lived. Walking about in these small towns, it is clear that Francesco knows the places to go … knows the locals … and knows the history. I could not recommend his tours more highly!
A local from Bari, Fransesco, knows all the little details about the area. He showed my husband and I the differences between older and newer Trullos and answered every one of our countless questions. He even had some for us! An amazing tour guide. If you have the chance, we highly recommend Franseco at Apulia Escapes.
Fantastico! Our tour guide, Bari native Francesco, was the quintessential Italian host during a thorough immersive experience of the trulli community of Alberobello. We walked and learned and laughed and enjoyed the hospitality of the people of Alberobello. Francesco’s knowledge and kindness and pride in his country made for a memorable experience!
