Tout guide was sweet, but had little training as a guide and imparted very little information unless we asked a question. The tour was a waste of money.
Dear Joseph, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re very sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Our guide mentioned that you seemed to enjoy the experience and that you had a friendly, pleasant conversation together about local life and culture in Paris. It seems there was a mismatch between what you were hoping for and the style of the tour you received, and we sincerely apologize for that. We understand that many guests look for more historical details and structured commentary, and we will absolutely take your feedback into account to ensure every guest receives an experience that feels valuable and informative. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts — we truly appreciate it, and it helps us continue improving. Warm regards,
Mehrdad was our tour guide for Montmartre Walking Tour. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got the best view and insider information on the history of Paris. Not enough words to describe how great this tour was! We loved it so much we would have extended if we had more time.
This personal guided tour of the Montmartre section of France was very nice. Aliya was our personal guide and she did a wonderful job. The places we visited in Montmartre were beautiful. The Sacred Heart Basilica was one of the highlights the the tour. Aliya was super kind and helpful all along the way.
Seeing the cathedrals the art the beautiful views of paris the whole experience was great our guide was wonderful
Anastasia was the perfect tour guide. Shevwas very knowledgeable and custom packaged our tour. It was our pleasure to have her as our guide.
Mehrdad was a kind guide and went out of his way to give us many recommendations and links to various spots of interest in the city. We would give him 5 stars for his efforts and kindness. He is the only reason why Viator is given 3 stars. I find that the Viator Private tours are overpriced. We could have easily got the same experience out of our tour book. To be charged $278 to be walked around Montmarte is severely overpriced. We do not plan on using or recommending Viator to others.
Dear Kathleen, We're sorry you are not satisfied with the price of the tour. It seems you are happy with the tour and the guide. The guide did everything he could to meet all your expectations and he covered all the places and spots from the tour itinerary. You were aware of the price when booking the tour, so we are not quite sure how we can help in this situation. Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you
I Lost a lot of money and Lost a lot of priceless time in Paris, No benefits at all!!!. Guide from Columbia was lost in Paris. We spend an hour in line to Sacré Coer so we said” thank you” and we made new plan ourselves. Not even visiting the basilique…. Disaster!!!
Dear Maciej, We are sorry you expected something else from the tour what it was not. It turns out you asked the guide to explore the city by taxi and to take funicular - it was all not included in tour, and not part of the route. The guide was trying to make it work, but at some point you started ignoring the guide for some reason. The guide did his best to still cover the program that was initially planned and make sure you still have a good time on tour. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
We had a wonderful tour with Jonathan. He was quite knowledgeable about both the area and history. Jonathan had wonderful stories and by the end of the tour we felt that we had a very good feel for Montmartre, its beauty and charm as well as its historical significance. I would recommend this tour, and Jonathan was great.
Anna was amazing! We have traveled to Paris many times and never experienced Montmartre! My daughter has a degree in Art History and was especially excited to see where Picasso and Van Gogh lived and worked . Anna’s knowledge of the history of the area was extensive and interesting. The Basillica of the Sacred Heart was a vantage point of greater Paris that we had never seen before and was just stunning! We had lunch at Anna’s recommendation and were surrounded by artists at work while we enjoyed an incredible meal! This tour is a must do for people who want a day seeing a unique area of Paris!!
Claire our guide was superb and very kind. Explanation on every step of the visit was very clear. She even managed to keep the kids focused and participate like immersed in the sites history. I would definitely do it again next time we are in Paris.
