Paseo a caballo y caminata por el volcán Cotopaxi

Esta experiencia exclusiva le presentará el paisaje y la vida silvestre de la Cordillera de los Andes. Su guía turístico profesional lo recogerá en su hotel o airbnb para comenzar el recorrido e ir al Cotopaxi. Los 90 minutos en coche desde Quito a Cotopaxi están llenos de hermosas montañas y pequeños pueblos acogedores. Al llegar a Cotopaxi el guía local lo estará esperando con cascos, ponchos y caballos. Luego montarás a caballo durante 2 o 3 horas por los pastizales y el hermoso volcán. En el camino de regreso disfrutaremos de un lunch box para luego continuar hacia la laguna de Limpiopungo. La laguna está ubicada en un altiplano plano donde caminarás durante 1 hora alrededor de ella. Es un lugar increíble para ver las plantas, flores y pájaros locales. Al final regresará a Quito o hará una parada en un restaurante local para almorzar. Devolución en su hotel

Itinerario
Monta a caballo en el segundo volcán más alto del Ecuador. El viaje de 2 a 3 horas le permitirá visitar algunos de los pastizales y colinas más hermosos donde brotan manantiales naturales del volcán que desembocan en el valle andino. El paisaje es impresionante.
El hermoso Parque Nacional es el hogar de muchos animales salvajes como caballos, ciervos y aves. Durante el tiempo admirarás las altas montañas y también observarás la increíble vida salvaje.
La caminata por la libra de Limpiopungo toma 1 hora y nos permitirá observar un santuario de aves y muchas plantas y flores nativas del pastizal.

This is a beautiful experience that connects with nature and the beauty of Copaxi. The horses were so gentle and our guide, Daniel spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable.

Riders are outfitted with ponchos and chaps, which are items I had never used before but was very glad to have. They kept me warm and dry through the changeable weather. The two hour ride covered a variety of terrains with 360 degree views of gorgeous countryside throughout. The leaders are were relaxed but effective, providing a stress-free experience. This was easily the best "rental ride" I have ever done and enthusiastically recommend it! We had a professional guide that day, but he did not join us on the ride. (The nearby restaurant has very inflated prices and other options are available with a brief drive.)

Our guide, Christian, was knowledgeable and fun. Horseback riding was a great way to see Cotopaxi since the high elevation makes hiking difficult. The horses were sure-footed and Patrik outfitted us with ponchos and chaps to keep us warm. Be sure to bring a hat and gloves. We bought them from a vendor next to the horses and we really needed them. We saw lots of birds on the lagoon walk.

We had an amazing time at Cotopaxi National Park with our guide, Christian. He was on time, friendly, and very informative, sharing so much about the park’s history, geology, and wildlife. The highlight of our day was also the horseback riding experience, guided by Raul, who was incredibly patient and attentive throughout. This was a fantastic excursion. The lagoon was a beautiful 2 mile hike at a nice easy pace. The horseback ride was fantastic! The actual time on the horse was a full two hours and the scenery was spectacular. They provided warm chaps and a warm poncho, so I was very comfortable. My guide was very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. On the way home we stopped at a great local little restaurant for a late lunch.

This was a lovely ride and walk! However, be aware that it is at a high altitude. If you aren't used to it don't try this your first day in Quito.
Our guide Christian was amazing, very passionate about the tour and all the wildlife we saw. We learnt a lot about the country and the area we were visiting. We had a lovely lunch recommend by Christian. All in all a fantastic day, throughly recommend
