Takeshi was amazing. I was quite nervous as my kids and I had not dived in years. I took the refresher course and he was very thorough. I felt very comfortable with him and also Carlos the next day. Both were great. I had so much fun and the scenery was unbelievable. I recommend it highly!!!

We had a great time at West Bay Divers. Barney and Karla are great. As soon as we walked in they took care of us and took their time to set us up with our instructor. Lisa, Bastiaan and Joel showed us around and made us feel like family. We had the best time, saw all the interesting marinelife Roatan has to offer. Thanks a lot!

My family and I just returned from Roatan yesterday and we're already planning our return. That's in no small part because of the time we spent with West Bay Divers. The folks at West Bay Divers were wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming. Our guide, Takeshi, was fantastic and had an eagle eye. He was kind and patient with new divers and always chose sites based on the entire group's level. No matter your experience level, West Bay Divers offers incredible dives for everyone! My group skipped the wrecks (we're fish fiends) but combined we did a total of 34 dives over 6 days. In that time we saw eagle rays, mantis shrimps, huge turtles, tiger groupers and tiny blennies, squid, octopus, various small shrimp, enormous and bold angel fish and nearly anything else you can imagine in the Caribbean short of whale sharks (try in April). The corals are the best we've seen in the Caribbean and Roatan is doing a good job to protect these treasures. If you're staying in the family friendly West Bay, don't sleep on West Bay Divers!

We had a wonderful experience scuba diving in the beautiful Roatan water with Abner and Takeshi this week! West Bay Divers was highly recommended by our hotel and we were very pleased with the high level of service. The diving was amazing and Abner found us some seahorses, turtles and lots of beautiful sea life. Looking forward to returning soon!

Had an amazing several dives with Bastiaan, Lisa, and Joel at west bay divers! We explained what we were hoping to see and they made it happen, plus more. Saw an eagle ray an almost every dive we did which was pretty awesome.

We did a refresher course and 4 dives with Karim. He was absolutely phenomenal. He is so knowledgeable and professional. Every dive was something new. I highly recommend him and this company to anyone coming to Roatan to dive.

West Bay Divers were great! My mom and I did 3 morning 2 tank boat dives with them. The pricing was unbeatable! If you have multiple people diving they let you package all the dives together for determining your per-dive payment price. Our whole experience was excellent. Signing up with them was super quick and easy. On our first dive day, getting our equipment sorted out was no issues and I felt like we had quality rental gear. The boats they take you out in are great, there's shade and the boats are clean and good condition. They had fresh fruit for us on our surface intervals that was delicious. The dives themselves were incredible! We very much appreciated the small dive groups. Takeshi, our dive master, was the best! He was great both in and out of the water, making sure we had the best experience at all times. He provided us with a bunch of photos a videos at the end as well! So above and beyond. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of diving with Takeshi, from West Bay Divers, recently, and it was a wonderful experience. Unlike some other shops in the area, WBD is on schedule and ready to go! Since we live on the island and work remotely, not wasting time is important to us. Takeshi was very safety conscious and great at pointing out little things. You could tell that he truly enjoys his job. He has also been great about helping us get to see the south side of the island, which we live on. The timeliness, customer service, awesome dive master, and flexibility of dive sites will keep us coming back. Great job!

I strongly recommend diving with West Bay Divers - they were great in all respects. We contacted them in advance by email and they were responsive, clear and helpful. Most of our dives were with Abner who was warm and welcoming, informative and clear in his briefing, and was professional and a pleasure throughout. Also had Nico as a dive master for one dive and he was equally a pleasure. The boats were clean and organized, and the dive gear was also first rate. No heavy lifting by the customers on this trip - tanks waiting for you on the boat and changed for you at surface interval. No unnecessary or prolonged waiting around at any point from beginning to end. Strongly recommended!

This was my first time open water diving since getting certified in Florida and it was a truly GREAT experience. We stayed at the Kimpton Grand Resort where the representative there, Carla, was very helpful in directing me where to go and providing me with some details. The staff at the facility were all excellent and the two dive masters that I dove with, Bastion and Nico, were both very accommodating in their instructions before and the during the dives. I would definitely want to go diving with them again.
