El amplio conocimiento del Guía sobre la flora y fauna local mejorará su experiencia ya sea al pasear por Laguna Charco Verde o maravillarse con las playas de Punta Jesús María. Ometepe tiene historias que contar para aquellos que quieran escuchar y por eso nuestro guía curará los artefactos en el museo El Ceibo. Para añadir guinda al pastel, se le proporcionará una suntuosa comida casera basada en la cocina local. Ojo de agua ¿qué podemos decir que no se haya dicho antes?, Este hoyo natural es donde puedes relajarte, darte un chapuzón y rejuvenecer tu espíritu. Nuestra moto es 'Disfruta a tu propio ritmo' y por lo tanto nunca te apuraremos. Esperamos que al final de todo, con una sonrisa pronuncies 'QUE LINDA ISLA"

Itinerario
Puedes pasear por las aguas divisorias del lago Cocibolca. Podrás disfrutar de la espectacular vista tanto del Volcán Concepción como del Volcán Maderas. También podrás presenciar la fascinante puesta de sol al anochecer.
Podrás echar un vistazo al rico patrimonio y la historia de Ometepe en el museo El Ceibo. El museo tiene dos salas. La primera sala alberga una serie de artefactos precolombinos y la segunda sala una gran cantidad de monedas. Nuestro guía experto seleccionará los artefactos y las monedas para mejorar su experiencia. Para colmo, recibirás un trago de ron local (cojoyo) elaborado con maíz.
Podrás pasear por la Laguna y ser recibido por los monos aulladores. Deleitarás tus ojos con la belleza de las mariposas en el Mariposario (recinto de mariposas). Puedes tomar fotos desde el mirador y mojarte los pies en la playa Bancon.
Ojo de agua es un pozo natural para nadar reabastecido por las aguas de un río que se origina en el Volcán Concepción. Podrás relajarte, darte un chapuzón y rejuvenecer tu espíritu en medio de una naturaleza acogedora.
Se ofrecerá un almuerzo basado en la cocina local en un ambiente al aire libre.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Podremos recogerte desde cualquier lugar de Ometepe. Si el tour está reservado solo para un cliente, los recogeremos en moto. Si es más de uno, los recogeremos en un vehículo apropiado (coche, furgoneta, etc.) Incluimos todas las entradas y un almuerzo casero basado en la cocina local, excepto la opción Economy Classic Cultural Tours.

I am a solo traveler. I was a bit hesitant at first but as soon as I met the guide Douglas I felt comfortable. He came and picked me up. We planned out the days events and went at our own pace. I have a hard time hiking down due to my vision but he helped me every step the way. Enjoyed traveling across the island on a motor bike as well. I had a blast. If you are solo so t hesitate.

This Day Tour was the best experience i’ve had in Nicaragua. Donald and Franklin are amazing people and even better tour guides! My friends and I got to see everything we wanted to see along with enough time at every spot for our own exploration and for pictures. We ate food at Donald’s family home and to this day I think about his Wife’s cooking ! The best food on the island and the sweetest people I have ever met. Not only were the connections and experiences so special and worth it but we learned so much at the Museum del Cabo I truly fell even more in love with the island. The guys were kind enough to take us to a Pulperia on our way back to our accommodation and they even made a video for us of our day:)) I also booked several transportation services with the people I met through this day tour and everyone was amazing 10/10!

Donald is the man! I am so glad I booked this full day tour of Ometepe. He picked me up from my accomodation at 0830 and then I spent the day on the back of his motorbike touring the cultural and natural highlights of the island ending at Playa Mango fot sunset. For lunch, I had a delicious lunch prepared by his lovely wife and met his adorable kids! For a bonus, he actually attempted (bless him, haha) to teach me how to ride a motorbike. I was hopeless, but it was so fun to try and good idea I hadn't just rented one thinking I could learn on the fly. Anyhow, I actually think it was an amazing deal since I could customize the itinerary and since I had a short time on Ometepe--compared to speaking to others--I did more on my day with him than many do in several days. Highly recommend the day tour of the island. Especially if you don’t want to hike up a volcano. However; Happy Tours does that too. We contacted very last minute and they were able to get a guide to give us the tour of the island. We saw all the spots we wanted to see. Juan was our guide . He speaks English as well and we both got to practice Spanish and English 😉. They were willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. The family cooked lunch was really good too !
