Este recorrido a pie está diseñado para que se haga una idea general de Edimburgo, su historia y su cultura. La visita dura alrededor de dos horas y recorre muchos de los sitios del casco antiguo, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco. Nos esforzamos por ofrecer una visita informativa a la vez que entretenida y proporcionarle una idea general de Edimburgo con la pasión que se merece.

Itinerario
El recorrido a pie lo llevará arriba y abajo por la red de calles empedradas y callejones que conforman el corazón histórico del casco antiguo de Edimburgo. El recorrido dura aproximadamente dos horas y puede esperar ver lugares de interés como la Catedral de St Giles, Mercat Cross, la Escuela George Heriot y el Castillo de Edimburgo (desde el exterior). Euan was a great guide and helped us see Edinburgh in new ways that made the rest of our trip richer. In particular, I never really noticed all the unicorn imagery in Scotland before.
Excellent tour! Best to do this at the beginning of your stay but would still be worthwhile. Our guide was fabulous, I apologize I cannot remember her name right now. She did introduce herself. She was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging.

Matthew was our tour guide, and he made the Old Town Tour something truly special. We learned a lot about the history of the city and of Scotland, and despite some of the more serious topics, we laughed a lot along the way. We would recommend this Tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh. It was engaging from start to finish and very well presented. Starting at Mercat Cross, we made our way past the cathedral and on to the first skyscraper. At the end, we heard the story of Bobby at Greyfriars Kirkyard. All in all, highly recommended. P.S.: Dear Matthew’s mum: you have a wonderful son! ;-)
