What a fun evening we had with Alex!! He is so knowledgeable about Paris and French History. He made it come alive! He was also very patient with the two of us- beginners at the art of segue ing. A must do while in Paris!
Our guide was amazing. She was super concerned about safety. Very personable. Great tour and way to see the city. Highly recommend!
It was a great family tour with our teen aged boys and one of my favorite memories of our trip. Alex our guide was super nice and informative. The scooters were a ton of fun and the monuments we went to see were great! It would have taken a long time to walk around to. We went to the Hotel des Invalides, the Champs d'Eglysse, the Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower amongst other sites. Here are a couple take aways to help plan your tour... None of us had ever rode a Segway before. It took a little practice that tour guide Alex gave us a great tutorial. I would consider myself semi non-athletic but feel comfortable riding a bike. I think if you have enough balance to do that, you would be fine on these. We had done 15,000 steps during the morning and afternoon before our night time tour. Riding these scooters are basically like standing in place for two hours. That in itself isn't bad, but I wouldn't have planned as much ahead of our tour if we ever go back to do it again because our legs were smoked. The tour was rain or shine. Obviously we couldn't control the weather and we would have had the option to cancel if we wanted to, but Alex our guide gave us rain ponchos and we did the tour anyway. It was raining pretty good during a couple points. Lastly, the tour starting location is kind of in a residential neighborhood. We had our Uber driver drop us at the address listed and thought we screwed up. There isn't a sign or anything that says 'Segway Tours'. That might be my only critique that Alex could put a sign in his window. The tour was great and made me want to buy a Segway!!
Alex was our guide and he was so patient and professional with us. It was our first time on a Segway ever. He gave us quick but thorough lessons, and it took us no time to catch on! This is a great way to see all the top spots in Paris if you don’t have a lot of time. There was no way we had time to walk to all the sites, or be with a big tour group. Alex also took an amazing pictures for us. I highly recommend this for anyone!
The tour was OK. It lasted about two hours. We visited several places. The Eiffel Tower by night was the high of the night. The other places were not memorable.
So much fun to ride the Segway through the streets of Paris. Alex was a wonderful teacher and guide. Recommend. Not too cold but recommend comfy shoes and warm jacket for sept.
I have booked the Segway Tour knowing after a day of sightseeing and walking around I might not be able to stay much longer. And it was so worth it. I had lucky in booking and ended up the only member in that tour. So the guide Sasha introduced me into how to drive a Segway and let me choose between two possible tours. We were driving around the city and she always checked on me and the traffic which was so nice. I have never done driving a Segway and by itself it was an experience. But with doing stops, getting to know Paris and the history and actually seeing a huge part of the city it made my day! The guide later gave me some recommendations of restaurants. Definitely a highlight in my journey!
This was a great experience! It was just the two of us with our guide Alex who was very helpful and knowledgable. After making sure that we were ok with using the segways, off we went - mostly in the bike lanes, sometimes on the pavement, even up the Champs Elysees! It can get a bit cold at night so ensure you take something warm to wear. Overall very enjoyable and a different way to see Paris. Highly recommended.
It was very nice experience! Our guide Alex was excellent providing details about all of our stops. Plenty of time was given to take photos. Thanks for making our first day in Paris really special:)
