Do not follow the link for location thru Viator, as it puts the museum in the middle of the canal! Museum was small but had a decent amount of Banksy art/history, but it seemed it was more focused on history of street art and street artists. Interesting exhibit, but I would have liked more on Banksy.
This museum is not for older people. There was no lift but a spiral staircase without a proper railings. If you have any problems in climbing stairs because your age. Don’t come here.
Dear “NCFOM”. We are housed in an historic building constructed in 1807 that is protected by Copenhagen commune, therefore we are not able to install a lift. Older people who are fit and able to walk up stairs manage just fine.
Good selection of quality art pieces . Free audio guide in multiple langages is great. Took me an hour to go around . Great way to end the day.
Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤️
It was awesome. The Banksy exhibit was a one of a kind experience. It was one of those experiences where you felt like you were part of the art experience.
Thank you!
Both myself, an art enthusiast, and my partner, who knows very little about art, we both absolutely loved this place! It not only has some of the most powerful pieces of Banksy, Warhol, Futuro, Retna and many more, but it guides you through the history of Street Art. Its carefully curated and fun approach is great for all ages. Be sure to check out the NEW basement exhibit which takes you into the future of film and digital art. Seriously this place was one of my favorite parts of my trip to Copenhagen! Bravo!!
Overall it was good but there was lots of reading about the art work. Stairs up and down to see the exhibition.
Thanks for the four star review. If reading is not your thing then it’s okay just to look at the pictures, if that’s what you prefer. Thanks for visiting!
Wonderful exhibit. In-depth look at Banksy & other graffiti artists. If you like street art this is an exhibit to see.
Thank you!
I was looking things to do close to our hotel in Nyhavn when I ran across this museum. We had the nicest time there. The exhibits are interesting and presented in a very pleasing and organized manner. I highly recommend this exhibit if you have an hour or so to fill while in Copenhagen.
Thank you so much Brad!
We went here with our Copenhagen card, we both love street art and there was a great collection of work to see here. If in Copenhagen add this one to your list if it's your thing too!
Wonderful. Thank you!
Very enriching and beautiful exhibition. I was surprised and impressed by the exhibition I had come to see, but also that.
Tusind tak Lukas!
