Amazing Value & Historical Immersion!

Great value for this tour! It included admission and an amazing guide for both the Anthropology Museum and Chapultepec Castle. Ivan spent the better part of his day with us and had a wealth of knowledge about the Teotihuacans, Aztecs, and Mayas. We were immersed in the history of Mexico as he explained everything clearly and in great detail. He was obviously informed about all the most recent archaeological developments and understandings of these civilizations as well as more modern-day Mexican history. He spoke extremely clear, fluent English and there wasn't a single question he couldn't answer! We were in a group of 9 for the museum and it was only 3 of us for the castle so it felt like a private tour! The only downside for us personally was that we were under the impression the tour would spend approximately 2 hours at the museum and 2 hours at the castle. We ended up spending about 4 hours at the museum which was more than expected (amazing for the history buff in our group but less so for the other 2 of us!). If you are a history buff, this is the perfect fit for you! If not, it may not hold your attention for the entire duration. We still got to enjoy 2 hours at the castle and a 25 minute break in between to grab a coffee / snack. This tour was extremely informative and we would recommend for anyone who truly wants to learn about the ancient cultures of Mexico!

Thank you very much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We’re delighted to hear that you had such an enriching experience exploring the museum and the castle with Ivan. His passion for Mexican history and archaeology truly makes a difference, and we’re glad you enjoyed learning about the Teotihuacans, Aztecs, and Mayas through his explanations. It’s wonderful to know that his clear English and deep knowledge helped create such an immersive experience for your group. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the time spent at the museum and the castle. The National Museum of Anthropology is incredibly extensive, and sometimes guests who are especially interested in history choose to explore it in greater depth. Your comment is very valuable to us, as it helps future travelers have a clearer idea of the pace and focus of the tour. Thank you again for recommending the experience. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Mexico in the future!

Not a good tour

The only good thing about this tour are the included tickets, and the guide Raul was on time but unfortunately not very good at explaining the history and stories behind what we were seeing at the museum, he pointed out objects and described what they looked like, not much explanation of their significance or the history behind them, and same issue at chapultepec where he seemed to know even less, i got more information reading the plaques or over-hearing other guides who were telling amazing stories to explain the history which was quite frustrating, I would recommend finding a group tour as they seemed to have better tour guides, read reviews before booking,

It's sad to read that other people try to misinform others. From the beginning, the tour guide told us about a strange attitude towards this person. He told us that he was in a hurry to do the tour. Fortunately, our guide is one of the best and accompanied the lady to the extent that she allowed it. We avoid large groups at all costs, if you like to take a tour with many people and can only see or hear your guide, this is definitely not a tour for you. We seek excellence and professionalism with small groups (although we send a guide ONLY FOR YOU and, despite that, you complain). Thank you for writing your review, so that people know that we are not a company that is dedicated to bringing together hundreds of people for a tour, that our guides do not "tell incredible stories", but the true story of each object and that, fortunately, our travelers will be able to have an almost private and quality experience. Finally, it is obvious that we would not risk having a guide who does not know what he is explaining, it would be illogical and not strategic at all. This review only confuses travelers.
