My guide was Danylo and I was the only one at the tour, thanks to Dan the tour went really well. He is knowledgeable and always looked out for my safety, answered all the questions, stopped whenever I needed to take a photo and was so patient. Safe driving picked me up on time, great communication. I loved the tour, would encourage solo travellers to go for it. Great tour and even better tour guide.
Great tour, super informative guide, hit the best spot for sunset at the start and as the night turned dark it gets even better
This a great tour and a personalized tour of highlighted areas, in a comfortable vehicle. A nice a way to spend the evening in Montreal . MountRoyal , walking tour and Ferris wheel were every enjoyable for us .William our guide was great and very polite .
An excellent experience 4 both of us, even customized 4 my disability status, which was really appreciated. William is chock full of historical info & is a great guide, proficient in both French and English. He made it much easier 4 us to enjoy the tour. 5 stars!
Mustafa, our tour guide, wa fabulous. The tour itself was anti-climatic. We spent most the night sitting in traffic. The tour definitely needs to be "tweaked". Not worth the money.
Zoe was an excellent guide with a great knowledge of Montreal and a wonderful personality that made the tour very memorable.
We understood it to be more driving than walking which would have been good after a day of traveling. Turned out to be a lot of walking. Also when I booked the trip, it was agreed that we would be picked up at our hotel and then we got an email, the day prior , that we had to meet elsewhere. Added a couple more miles of walking....
😟 The mismatch between what was agreed at booking and what happened on the day is a genuine concern. Please do reach out to us directly so we can look into how this was handled and make it right.
We booked the Premium Driving Night Tour with La Grande Roue as a special way to end our weekend in Montreal, and it turned out to be the perfect finale. We were picked up at our hotel promptly at 7:30 by William, a Concordia student who had only started giving tours about a month earlier. As it happened, we were the only ones booked that evening, so we unexpectedly had a private tour. William was engaging, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable, and he seemed like a natural guide despite being so new to the role. Our first stop was one of the best lookout points on Mont Royal, which we hadn’t yet visited during our trip. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and with nearly clear skies, the timing could not have been better. William shared the history of the area, pointed out notable landmarks, and made the stop even more enjoyable with his insights and conversation. We then headed into Old Montreal, where the tour really added something special to places we had barely explored on our own earlier in the weekend. Seeing the area at dusk gave it an entirely different atmosphere, and William brought it to life with fascinating historical details, stories and architectural observations we definitely would not have discovered on our own. From there, we made our way to La Grande Roue, where we enjoyed spectacular nighttime views from our own Ferris wheel car for three revolutions, lasting nearly 30 minutes. Even during the walk back to the van along the waterfront, William continued sharing stories, answering our questions, and offering local insight right up until he dropped us off. This tour was a wonderful experience and a perfect way to close out our Montreal trip. We would absolutely recommend it, especially if you’re lucky enough to get William as your guide.
Old Montreal coming alive in the evening light, and nearly thirty minutes above the city on La Grande Roue as a finale sounds like the kind of night that makes a whole trip click into place 🌃 William kept the conversation and insights going all the way to the drop-off says everything about how much he cares about the experience.
The Montreal Night tour was great. Zoe did a splendid job as guide with lots of background info about Montreal and the Quebec area. Highly recommended
