you sent an email of confirmation today pick up at 0800 in the hotel NOBODY CAME !!!!! when I called the operator she told me that was an incorrect confirmation since in this hotel the pick up would be 0725 THEREFORE WE LOST THE DAY. They booked again for tomorrow at 0725 BUT CHANGED ALL OUR LIFE I consider this fact a big error from your side
Our guide was local, could speak three languages and very knowledgeable on city, history and a native to Quebec.
You shouldn't miss this very beautiful experience, which is of very good quality and features very good treatment from the driver and guide
We were picked up very late, very rude driver
The tour operator refused to accommodate me since they didn’t receive confirmation, but I had no idea of the requirement as I had already downloaded the tickets and considered the tour confirmed. They did not reach out to confirm either. This is my worst experience with Viator and I think I should be refunded and compensated for my wasted time, expense and effort preparing for the tour
The guide in Quebec was good but neither pickup nor dropoff is reliable. I booked the tour for Saturday, and did it on Friday afternoon, requesting pickup from the hotel I was staying at (it was on the list). I sat outside for more than 30 monutes but nobody came and nobody contacted me. Turned out that they had expected me to confirm with the driver minimum 24 hours before (I couldn't as I hadn't yet booked 24 hours before). They offered me to go Sunday instead and I took that offer and this time I was picked up by a minibus. The trip to Quebec was uneventful but when dropping off the driver mentioned hotels at the first stop and mine was not among them. And not among those at the next stop either. I was getting worried and asked and then he told me I should have gotten off at the first stop and then walked for like hálf an hour. Blamed me for not having notified him. Then he came to the final stop, the office of the tour company, dropped everyone off and told me there was a metrostation nearby (turned out it was 9 minutes' walk and 5 minutes at the other end). I was not pleased with that and then he referred me to the office. The office was locked. Then he told me there was someone in there, whom I should talk to. A young woman came out and offered to order a taxi. I did not take that offer, - I don't like taxis but would have taken a taxi if it had been considered the tour company's responsibility, but that was not the case. I ended up running in the dark to the hotel, a 35 minutes' run. I survived.
Express visit... only 1/2 hour at Montmorency Falls. Guides in a rush to finish their day. Not enough free time.... Disappointed not to have been able to get closer to the falls....
Was never picked up and was told our refund would be denied without any explanation. A lost day for 5 senior travellers coming from far south in South America, offering a rebooking with a tight schedule and no refund is a terrible service.
Great value for money. Frank our driver was friendly and caring. This tour offers a quiet, no fuss ride to and from QC city. We met up with the tour guide upon arrival for a short visit through the lower town. He then accompanied us to Montmorency Falls. On our drive back we went through the town of QC city to give us more of a local flavour. Midway stop both on the way to and on the way back. Suggestions for improvement: - The tour departed 25mins late. Please depart on time and also please start earlier at 7am instead of 8am so that we have more free time in QC city as 2 hours is not enough to explore this charming city. - Please provide a wearable mic to the driver so he doesn't need to drive with one hand while holding the mic in the other hand. - Please also fix the echo in the mic as it was very difficult to understand the driver's instructions as the sound came out muffled.
A fantastic trip to Quebec City. Bus driver always told us what to expect. Guide at Quebec City and Waterfalls was superb!! Personable, good sense of humor and outstanding historian! A perfect day!! Couldn't have done it on our own!!
