Experimente un recorrido turístico de 1,5 horas por los fiordos brumosos con Seawind Aviation a bordo de nuestros clásicos hidroaviones DeHavilland Otter o Beaver. A solo un corto vuelo de Ketchikan, volará sobre imponentes paredes de granito de 3.000 pies, profundos fiordos tallados por antiguos glaciares, picos brumosos, cascadas y exuberantes laderas boscosas. Aterrizaremos en un remoto lago de montaña o en una tranquila entrada de agua salada durante una parada de 20 minutos, lo que le dará la oportunidad de salir a los flotadores y disfrutar de la quietud de esta naturaleza virgen de cerca. Great value for a wonderful trip. The office was helpful, efficient and friendly. The pilot was knowledgable and a great pilot, and a fascinating person. The flight was beautiful and the plane was comfortable and had great viewing.
We had a wonderful flight seeing experience with Seawind Aviation. Setup and meeting : We booked this excursion a week ahead. There was a last minute time change (first from 8.30 to 9.30am, and then back to 8.30). Time change happened for a friend of ours as well . What i want to say is - Don’t be alarmed if this happens - the fine people at Seawind know what they are doing, and will help you get from and back the cruise ship as needed. The office is almost like a log cabin, very cozy and welcoming ! Comfortable seating while you wait for your plane. 2 lovely dogs liven up the place 🙂 Experience - This is a once in a lifetime kind of experience. You get to truly experience the vast expanse of the “last frontier” with mountains, numerous lakes, waterfalls. The highlight undoubtedly was the water landing . this took place at one of the lakes high up in the mountains. the pristine surroundings are a joy to behold . Note - water landing is not included by default. please make sure you have this if you want while booking . We went on a plane with 6 passengers + pilot. everyone got a window seat. we had great weather, but in poor weather, some people could get a bit sick due to the rocking of the plane. Would love to do this again, but it is a steep price as you could expect.

This experience is like nothing else, it’s an extraordinary beautiful feeling taking off and landing on water. Being a pilot myself this never gets old. Captain Steve flew the turbine Otter so nicely! We were lucky with the weather. The landing on Nooya Lake was like a dream! Glassy water this time. You can experience the real remote and wild wilderness. This booking was a surprise present from me to my husband for his birthday. He was a bush float pilot back in the days. It still was an incredible experience. And yes worth the money spent!! Live a little 👍
We had a great time on our seaplane adventure and it was a blast. Landing in a private lake and taking in the scenery was a bonus!
By far this was our favorite excursion of our Alaska trip! We were blessed to have a clear blue sky in Ketchikan that day, and visibility was limitless! The views were just stunning, and the experience of landing on the remote lake was amazing! To top it off, we were able to see Dall sheep on the top of a mountain and a whale along the shoreline on our way back prior to landing. All staff were friendly and hospitable!

This flight was incredibly beautiful! The scenery was spectacular. It was very cool landing on the water and being able to walk outside the plane on the water. The pilot was very safe and knowledgeable. 10/10, I would definitely do this trip again.
I booked this experience for the day my cruise ship was in Ketchikan, and it was incredible. Everything was incredibly smooth - the booking/confirmation was seamless and the team was communicative, the pick up and drop off was easy and clear, and the flight itself was great. Being in the air over the fjords and water was truly unbelievable and breathtaking. I booked this particular experience because it would land on a lake mid-flight, and that was just so cool. It was so peaceful and serene, and getting to get out of the plane and see the view of the lake was totally worth it. So glad I did this while I was there, would book again.
Great in all aspects pilot was great friendly knowledgeable and very personable. Only thing is the place was a Waze from the cruise ship port. Not their fault. 100% recommend.
