Es el lugar donde se llevan a cabo las actividades deportivas de Constantinopla, que se llama Roma del Este. Hay obras como la Fuente Alemana, el Obelisco Egipcio y la Columna Serpentina.
Mezquita Azul, conocida como la Mezquita de Sultanahmet, este impresionante edificio es una de las mezquitas otomanas más majestuosas de toda Turquía. Además, fue construido con 6 minaretes únicos.
Santa Sofía fue construida como iglesia en el siglo VI por el emperador Justiniano y luego, en 1453, renovada para convertirla en mezquita por el emperador otomano Fatih Sultan Mehmet. Se convirtió en museo en 1935 y en 2020 fue renovado en mezquita y recibe visitantes tanto locales como extranjeros. Tiene un gran valor espiritual.
El Palacio de Topkapi, que albergó a la dinastía otomana durante muchos años, se utilizó como centro de educación, administración y arte del estado. It was very much disorganised. It went ok u until we got to blue mosque n things fell apart The entire group was unhappy n had multitude issues. Although the tour guide was good due to Aran long of issues he landed spending more time on the phone repeatedly which meant we had to wait which prolonged our time. The other things really got us is although we were very small group we had to wait around for people to finish off some of the places we didn’t wanted to visit. One can do this tour by themselves at their own pace and get on with it.
It was perfect for exploring the historical and cultural riches of Istanbul. Our guide was very friendly and explained each stop in detail. Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace were truly fascinating. We enjoyed it very much.
We visited the historical peninsula and saw the rich historical places of Istanbul. The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia were truly impressive. I definitely recommend it.
We are a family that admires Istanbul. But we are strangers to this city and it is a very crowded city. We bought this tour because we had limited time. We were very curious about this historically important region. Our tour guide was professional and helpful. He gave us detailed information about many iconic places in this region. In 1 day, we visited most of the places we were curious about and got information. Thank you for this and we will definitely come again.
I would leave a better review, but my Tour guide did not know that my admission was paid in advance for the palace tour. This was the last event of the day and I wish short on cash from shopping and do not want to pay again so I sat and waited for my group to tour. Had I known this was the last event I would have gone on my way, allowing time to take in other sites. traveling alone, my guide, walked me back to my hotel where he asked for a better tip then what I was giving you. Let this review be his extra tip.
If you are interested in history, Istanbul is the place for you. During the day we visited many historical places. As part of the tour we visited many important places such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar and Basilica Cistern. Thanks to this tour we got to know Istanbul better and visited it in a more enjoyable way.
