DÍA 1. CIUDAD HO CHI MINH - DELTA DEL MEKONG (CAN THO) Salga alrededor de las 7:45 am de la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh y viaje al pintoresco Delta del Mekong, pasando por exuberantes arrozales y pueblos rurales en el camino. Pase a visitar la hermosa pagoda Vinh Trang. Continúe hacia My Tho para un viaje en barco por el río Mekong, donde podrá disfrutar del tranquilo paisaje y escapar de la concurrida ciudad. Navegue por los canales bordeados de coco de Ben Tre en sampan, luego visite pequeños talleres locales para aprender cómo se hacen los dulces de coco y otras especialidades regionales. Conozca a las familias locales amigables, pruebe las frutas tropicales frescas, el té de miel y escuche la música popular tradicional del sur interpretada por los aldeanos. DÍA 2 : MERCADO FLOTANTE DE CAI RANG - CIUDAD HO CHI MINH A las 6:00am, despierte para visitar el famoso mercado flotante de Cai Rang. Vive el animado comercio de la mañana mientras barcos cargados de frutas y verduras se reúnen para vender sus productos. Continúe a una fábrica de fideos de arroz para observar el proceso tradicional de fabricación de fideos y visitar un colorido mercado local cercano. Regreso a su hotel para desayunar y salir antes de dirigirse a la antigua casa de 10 Vo, una hermosa casa junto al río que muestra la arquitectura y tradiciones locales. Pruebe su suerte en la preparación de panqueques vietnamitas (bánh xèo) y disfrute de un sabroso almuerzo local. Después del almuerzo, tome un paseo opcional en bicicleta por el tranquilo campo para explorar la vida diaria de los lugareños. Por la tarde, viaje de regreso a la ciudad de Ho Chi Minh, llegando aproximadamente a las 4:45 pm.

Of all the tours in all the countries I've done, this was hands down the best. It had a lot of moving parts (multiple operators playing thier part), but everything was executed flawlessly. It was quite an active tour with bike rides and so many boat trips, but provisions were made for those with mobility issues. It helped that our guide, Beo, is passinate about the delta (being his home region), eager to share about Vietnam history, and committed to ensuring all guests have a great tour. BTW I don't know what the 5-star hotel option was like, but the 3-star hotel was the best accommodation of our stay in Vietnam. Overall, I was very impressed.
The tour was very good. Guide really good, explained history of things and very friendly. The 2nd day has a 4km bicycle ride. The bikes are very old, not well kept and on a 40 degrees day, middle of the day, was a bit much. If I do the tour again, I will sit this one out. The hotel was very high standard, the meals also very good. You see and experience plenty, as described.
The tour guide was very passionate and very careful to tell the history, the whole process was very comfortable and felt very well taken care of!

We greatly enjoyed our two day tour. Our tour guide was great! We would recommend this to anyone who wants to get a glimpse of real life in the delta.
Transport and accommodation to the destinations were good. The Cai Rang market is even according to the guide "dead" due to COVID, now there is only the odd boat selling produce and a lot of house boats. It's nothing like the pictures pre-covid which show numerous boats full of vegetables and fruit.

What an amazing trip to the Mekong Delta with Vietnam Adventure Tours. Tony the English speaking guide had a great sense of humour and had a fantastic knowledge of the area. Thoroughly enjoyed all our excursions and the Wink Hotel at Can To was perfect. Highly recommend.
