Fun trip, great and friendly staff. If you do the family boat the time in the village seems short. But then the time at the private beach feels a little long. (About an hour at the village and 2 hours at the beach). The main thing that bummed me out was that we never actually sailed the boat, the captain said the sail was broken. I assume none of these boats actually sail, because we didn’t see any of them doing so. Snorkeling was about 15-20 minutes long, they guide you in a loop around some of the reef and fish. You wear a life jacket the whole time so it’s easy to swim the distance (maybe 300 yards). The guide doesn’t stop at any one point so be sure to look in the water the whole time. Drinks on the family package are sunny D, water, coke, “lagoon” vodka, beer, and some pink alcohol mixture (I think it was a rum mix). We aren’t drinkers so we didn’t drink the alcohol, but the water/sunny D were good. The coke was flat though. Food at the buffet reminded me of a middle school cafeteria, not that great, but you can’t expect too much for the price. The only food I recommend eating was the Mexican food and salsa. Keep in mind the buffet is open for only the first hour of the 2 hours you spend at the beach (the bar is open the whole time). The staff were fun and helpful, overall we enjoyed it and I recommend.

Upgraded to a less crowded catamaran. Captain was very informative and friendly. Open bar and the crew were outstanding. The trip to isla mujeres was fun and rented the golf cart.

Would not do this trip again. The port fee($50) is more than the catamaran trip itself. They’ll charge you to park(300 pesos) at the port. The snorkeling was underwhelming and you better be ready to swim 100 yards to and from the snorkeling. The food at the beach club was surprisingly good. The most beautiful water you’ll ever see. The guide, Flip, was the best part of the whole trip. Overall “meh” trip.

This is literally a scam. Whatever you pay to get to the dock, the group has a plan to scam you to pay an additional $50 per person after your driver has left and you are stranded. It is a fear tactic I've run into before in other countries. Thankfully I am no small man and I was able to get my wife and I to safety. You will be detained. Be prepared if you go to understand Spanish and procure a safe exit. I AM NOT JOKING.

We were initially unsure about taking this tour because we had considered visiting the island on our own by ferry. However, we decided to give this tour a try, and we are glad we did. One of the highlights was definitely the open bar on board. Being able to enjoy drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery made the experience even more enjoyable. The snorkeling was very good as well, although I would have liked it to last a little longer. I also enjoyed the beach club, which was a great place to relax and enjoy the island atmosphere. The island tour itself was somewhat short, but it gave us a great overview of the destination. In fact, the tour inspired us to return to the island on our own the next day. It helped us discover interesting places to visit and gave us a better idea of where we wanted to spend more time exploring. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, well organized, and definitely worth it. If you are considering visiting the island, this tour is a great way to get acquainted with it and decide what you would like to explore further.

This tour is absolutely worth it because it has everything you could ask for. From visiting the underwater museum to exploring a beautiful island, every part of the experience was amazing. One of my favorite moments was driving around the island in the golf cart. It was so much fun and gave us the opportunity to discover the island at our own pace. Something I really want to highlight is the buffet. During my stay in the Riviera Maya, I tried several buffets, and many of them were quite average. However, this buffet was one of the best I had. The food was delicious, fresh, and offered a great variety of options. I would also like to thank my tour advisor, Maria, who was incredibly attentive and helpful. Unfortunately, we were unable to make it to our original reservation time, but thanks to her assistance, we did not lose our booking and were able to join the second schedule instead. I truly appreciate her support and excellent customer service. You are going to love this experience. It is something you simply have to live for yourself!

We chose this tour because some people who had taken it before recommended it to us, and we’re really glad we did. Our waiter was very attentive the whole time and kept us well taken care of with drinks—you can have as many as you like. The buffet food was excellent; compared to other places where I ate in Mexico, it was the best I tried, so I give them a 10 in that regard. The beach club was a bit underwhelming, especially the sand underwater where there’s seagrass, but it’s still a great place to relax.

As a family, we had an excellent day, especially since the weather was very favorable. In the previous days, the weather had been bad, and we heard that the activity had even been canceled. I recommend choosing the second time slot, as on the way back you’ll get to enjoy a spectacular sunset. What my family enjoyed the most was the beach clubthe food is of great quality, and my kids had a lot of fun with the beach equipment available for them to play with. The snorkeling was fantastic. I do feel that the tour could be a bit longer to explore more of the island, as it felt like a short visit. However, it’s still avery good tour, and the drinks are definitely included throughout the entire experience.
