A Great Tour!

We really enjoyed our bike ride to the Falls! Our guide was very attentive and made sure the bikes were all working properly and that everyone was safe on the ride. (It was an easy, relatively flat route and very scenic ride.) He also shared many stories about Quebec City and the Falls with us. We had plenty of time at the falls & enjoyed the cable car ride up, walking across the suspension bridge over the falls, and walking down the 400+ steps next to the fallls. We highly recommend this tour!

Perfect blend of adventure, nature and history - a must do

Our biking tour from Québec City to Montmorency Falls with Phil was one of the highlights of our trip. If you enjoy being outdoors, getting some exercise, and discovering the history and beauty of Québec, this tour is an absolute must. What made the experience so memorable was that it wasn't just a bike ride—it was a journey through Québec's fascinating past. Phil made thoughtful stops along the way that brought history to life, including an exhibit about the Spanish colonies that fought for and won their independence, the beautiful monastery dating to 1705, and the marina, where he explained how the locks and tides work together to allow boats to navigate the changing water levels. Each stop added another layer to our appreciation of the region. And then there was Montmorency Falls. No photograph can truly prepare you for the power and beauty of the falls. Seeing them up close was simply spectacular and worth the ride alone. Phil was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive to everyone in the group. He paced the tour well, shared fascinating stories, and made the history accessible and enjoyable while ensuring everyone had a great time. Whether you're visiting Québec for the first time or returning to explore more deeply, don't miss this tour. It's the perfect combination of history, exercise, breathtaking scenery, and local insight. Five stars for Phil and an experience we'll remember for years to come!

All in all…it was good.

Overall, a good experience. Going at 1:00 on a Saturday…the Falls were VERY CROWDED. Apparently it was a 3 day weekend in areas of Canada. Our guide, Felix, was good. Knows his stuff. There was a mix up in our reservation…they didn’t have enough guides so we ended up with a different English speaking group…but it all worked out. Last thing..:we traveled from Niagara Falls, ON so these Falls were okay….nothing spectacular because we came from 2 days in Niagara Falls.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry about the crowds at Montmorency Falls—that was unfortunately beyond our control. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed Félix's guiding Pierre

Highly recommend

Guy was our tour guide and is very knowledgeable about the area and history. The activity itself is not overly demanding physically. I’m a 55 year old woman and enjoyed it very much. Most of the ride is on a safe bike path and you have the option of using the using the elevator ride vs the stairs at the falls. 10/10

Don’t do this if there is any threat of rain… it’s not a pretty ride.

First, our guide Ellen was very nice. That is the only thing that we liked about the tour. It was pouring rain and the older gentleman at the shop would not let us cancel our tour. Consequently we had a miserable ride in the rain. Unlike the description the ride was through an industrial area and the ride “along the river” was along the highway. The falls were underwhelming and it was raining too hard to stop in the park for a snack. I would not do this again or use this cycle shop. When I got back in my drenched poncho I asked for a dry one to wear on the mile walk back to my hotel and he wanted me to buy it. I think after our experience would have been nice to give me one.
