I cannot recommend this agency. Except for the actual two hours at Machu Pichu with guide, my "tour" consisted of the agency just buying me the Machu Pichu ticket and tickets for transport there and back. There was no group and no guide. I had expected to be met by a guide with my tickets at the bus station at the beginning of the tour. Instead, the agency suddenly informed me the morning of the day before the tour that I had to meet with their representative in the evening. He gave me my tickets and tried to explain the very complicated connections. I had to cancel another obligation to attend this last-minute meeting. The representative never explained that I would be traveling alone without guide. The driver assigned to pick me up at my hotel was 25 minutes late, and I came within five minutes of missing the bus for the first leg of the trip--extremely anxiety provoking. On return late in the evening, I waited 20 minutes after arrival for the promised driver to return me to my hotel, but none appeared. I had to pay out of pocket for a taxi. Communications with the agency were hard to establish and maintain, as they seem not to monitor their e-mail. Except for the excellent guide at Machu Pichu, the company offered very poor service.

Truly excellent experience with the CuscoPeru agency, very kind, attentive, and reliable. It is totally worth it, from start to finish excellent, I will return and it will be with them.

My husband and I were going on a bucket list trip to Peru and wanted to see Machu Picchu. It was really important to my husband that we get Circuit 2 to see it since he wanted the iconic view from above, as well as getting to explore the ruins below. We waited a little too long to book (still a couple of months away, but you have to book early). We were frantically reaching out to different tour operators and no one was responding or could guarantee us Circuit 2. Then I stumbled upon CuscoPeru. They immediately responded to my request, at 8pm where I live PST, so it was late there. They coordinated everything for me. They were able to tell me what was available, and we literally only had 1 day we could do it and there were 7 spots left. They were able to get it for us that night and sent me email updates with all of the details. What a relief! We were so lucky. We arrived in Cusco, and I didn’t even have to reach out to them. Efrain reached out and met us at our hotel to talk about the tour. He brought pictures and gave us all the information and tickets we needed to go through our tour the next day. From Cusco, it involves a drive to the train station, then taking a train, then a bus to the site. Even though he explained everything to us, he said that he would be available if we needed anything throughout the day. Everything went as planned. We didn’t know we were getting panoramic views on the train they booked, so that was an added surprise. There were members from CuscoPeru at every stop to make sure we knew where to go, and to show us where to eat lunch! Once we arrived at Machu Picchu, our tour guide was waiting for us. She was absolutely lovely and there wasn’t a question she couldn’t answer. She also talked to us about the ecosystem, flowers, and birds as we were walking. It was a total bucket list experience. It is a long day, but absolutely worth it. All of the members of the team were incredibly kind and helpful. Our car driver even asked us if it was okay to take a different route home that would add on a few minutes so that he could avoid traffic and bumpy roads. Everyone was so thoughtful with every detail. There were a couple questions that came up during the day when we were catching the train or bus, and I messaged Efrain on whats app. He responded immediately. He wasn’t kidding, he was ready to help us with anything we needed. We were so grateful to find CuscoPeru, they totally exceeded our expectations.

We did a tour with 2 small kids (2 and 6 y.o.) and 3 adults. It was an amazing experience - Machu Picchu was more than we envisioned and we had high hopes, but it did not disappoint. We settled all the details on WhatsApp and got all the information about the pickup, what to do etc. the day before. It was well organized. We also did a Sacred Valley tour with the same company and enjoyed it very much. I definitely recommend spending a bit more for a private experience, especially if you're traveling with small children. The tour guides were very accommodating and knowledgeable.

Yesterday we had a wonderful experience in Machu Picchu. The tour was impeccable from start to finish, very kind and attentive people, excellent organization, and all the schedules were met as they indicated. We felt accompanied and calm throughout the trip, which made the experience even more special. Totally recommended.

An excellent and unforgettable excursion, more than we dreamed of for many years. The service from the company was excellent; they picked us up from the hotel located in the historic center (where vehicles cannot enter), and they kindly helped my wife, who has mobility difficulties, to reach the transportation (very comfortable) with a guide who explained everything we asked (sorry, I don't remember his name) and an exceptional driver, Johan. Upon arriving in Ollantaytambo, another guide was waiting for us to lead us to the beautiful Voyager train from Perurail, both the train and the views of the landscape were truly stunning. Upon our arrival in Aguas Calientes, John (our assigned guide) was waiting to take us to Machu Picchu, a historic and beautiful place, truly well-deserved of its title as a World Heritage site. I want to thank John for the excellent explanation of the tour through the citadel and all the help he provided so that my wife could fulfill her dream. The entire group truly made us experience an unforgettable excursion.

An amazing experience! Great pre-travel comms and meeting to outline how our day would look. Really spacious mini bus with blankets. The train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu has excellent views. The tour itself was amazing. We got perfect weather, and our tour guide John was excellent; he was so knowledgeable and funny. He also made sure to take lots of photos of us to remember the trip!
