Highly recommend this tour! We enjoyed a fun and informative tour of Lyon with Tony who is the perfect person to guide us through the most interesting places in Lyon! His knowledge of the history of Lyon was remarkable and delivered in a convivial, relaxed and fun manner. Not only did we enjoy the tour, but he also took note of the places we would be traveling to on our trip and Maud sent us many great suggestions for Lyon and the towns we would be traveling to next. All around great experience and we highly recommend this tour!

The guide, Tony, was super fantastic. He is shared so many details and facts about Lyon. He really knows the city and the great places to visit, eat, or just hang out. He made Lyon come alive. He communicates very well and made us all feel part of his family.

My family and I throughly enjoyed this tour. It is one of the best ones we’ve been on so far. Our guide, Toni, had great energy and kept us informed and entertained. He shared a lot of historical and cultural information during the tour of Lyon and provided really interesting anecdotes about the city. I would definitely recommend this as a tour to take.

This walking tour of Vieux Lyon by M&T Lyon Tours with our amazing guide Toni was exceptional! Toni's knowledge and passion for Lyon was evident in the wonderful stories he shared with us about Vieux Lyon. We learned so much about Lyon's history and culture. And his partner Maud made sure everyone knew exactly where to meet. We walked from St Paul to St Jean, visited several "traboules" passageways, got to try the famous praluline brioche, and heard many interesting facts about Vieux Lyon's history. Then it was up the hill by funicular to Fourviere to see the Roman Amphitheater, beautiful views of Lyon from the viewpoints, and the stunning Basilica Notre Dame. Toni spent extra time with our group because everyone was so interested in learning more! We really appreciate all the great recommendations they sent us after the tour ... impressive follow-up! We have taken many walking tours throughout Europe over the past 15 years, and this was one of the best. We 100% recommend this tour if you want to appreciate what makes Lyon so special. This tour provides a truly excellent introduction to Lyon. Toni is incredibly engaging, and is essentially a walking encyclopaedia on Lyon. I would recommend doing this tour early in your trip, as you’ll be provided with a number of personalised recommendations to help make the most of your time in the city.
