So much fun! Our tour guide was kind, provided us with a brief history about lucha libre, welcomed us with delicious drinks, and brought us to our seats. The experience was made stress-free, and for a very good price. I highly recommend1
This is actually my second time doing this tour! I did this tour in 2023 on my first trip to Mexico City with friends, and this trip was with a different group and for many of them it was their first time in CDMX, and I knew they would love this tour! It's great because you get to learn some of the history, what you can shout in the arena, try pulque, hear great music, get pumped up, and then it's just a fun time watching Lucha Libre! I think going without a tour would be really overwhelming because there are so many people and it's a busy part of town. Highly recommend this tour and I know I'll be doing it again!
A really great experience. The meeting location was a safe sport that was easy to get to. Alex, our guide, then took us to a fantastic bar where we sampled local drinks and music, told us some history and trained us in the art of shouting chants and wearing masks ready for the arena. He got us safely seated and, at the end of the event, he walked us all together back to our meeting spot where we could order Uber’s or walk safely back up the main road. Fab from start to finish, could not recommend enough.
This was FANTASTIC! Alex is an amazing guide and made the experience SO GREAT/ we will remember this tour forever
Jesus and the other two guides went out of their way to make the experience fun while giving us an insightful rundown of lucha libre culture. Trying pulque and listening to the mariachis at Plaza Garibaldi set the tone perfectly. Of course, the CMLL show was full of electricity and fast-paced action. My only suggestion would be to have the tour end closer to where it started. Navigating home from a packed Plaza Garibaldi was a bit intimidating for a CDMX newcomer. Otherwise, this tour is an absolute can’t-miss! And the masks you get to take home are legit quality of classic lucha stars!
Alejandro was a funny tour guide who got us hyped up for the Lucha Libre! He taught us the best cheers and the atmosphere of the arena! I had no idea it was a form of therapy to the common folk, which I think is more fun and cheaper. The match itself was so much like WWE, and it was so fun to see the locals and wrestlers get in on the action. My advice for the tour is: DO NOT bring food or drinks, the staff will make you throw it out, even with empty bottles prior to entering the arena.
Enjoyed the lucho libre experience. Overall was lots of fun. The guides were fun, however note that if you’re here to learn about lucho libre there wasn’t much information provided. Definitely more to enjoy the alcohol/tequila and have some fun! The value was a little pricey in my opinion.
Fun times, Alex was great. Be prepared for a smackdown and fun. Having a group to go with helps break up the tension of entering a huge crowd. Bring pesos, cards not used in the arena
A fun and lively experience. Wonderful entertainment. A delight to experience this rich culture of Mexico.
Leche Libre is a fun and lively experience. The arena was maintained and safe.
