We have visited the museum as family. Location is easy to find and we had no cue upon entry. For the visit I would recommend taking 1-1.5hours as, even though not the biggest, there are enough interesting things to occupy your time with. An incredible mind of one of the most important characters of our history. The audio guide costs 5 euros (Mai 2026) and I believe it's worth it because most of writtings are in italian (the reason for the 4 stars). In conclusion, a must see while in Milan, especially if you want to get more information about Leonardo da Vinci
This was my second time visiting. I love that this museum brought to life all of Leonardo’s creations that have never been seen. He was a true renaissance man!! Pure talent.
The trip was very interactive and fun for all ages. There are games, VR experiences, manuscripts, and 3d models. A must try experience is the building of the bridge as it challenges your brain and fun to do with others!
It is a very beautiful museum to visit with the audio guides. Leonardo da Vinci was truly a great visionary.
If you are not someone who can spend hours and hours reading material, then this is the experience for you. It is hands on, interactive and information is served up in good sized chunks.
This is a small but interesting museum featuring models of many of Leonardo's inventive ideas, such as his flying machines and mechanical lion. There is also a room with his imagined musical instruments that I found appealing. You can get an audio guide, but it doesn't provide a ton of information. Overall, it's a nice way to spend an hour, but not really a must-see attraction.
It is a very good museum on Da Vinci, we learn all his discoveries with interactive animations, in 3D, there are small animations for games (games, terminals, statue...), full of things about the makings of Leonardo da Vinci. I warn that it is in Italian so you would need a headset to understand with an extra charge of 5€.
This is a must do if your a fan of Leonardo da vinci. It was amazing to see so much stuff. Also there’s a potition at the end to save it so the more people that go the better . There was alot of stuff i never knew he did that i saw there
This is a very interesting museum. Leonardo was ahead of his time with his vision. It was interesting to see models of his inventions.
The Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Milan is highly recommended! You get a fascinating insight into the life and inventions of Leonardo. Especially the replica models of his machines and the interactive stations are impressive and make the exhibition exciting for children. Everything is modern and explained very clearly, so history really comes alive here. The multimedia presentations are also excellently implemented. Visitors to Milan should not miss this museum – a highlight for culture and technology lovers alike.
