Descripción
Hemos traído diversión y emoción y las hemos mezclado con la belleza y las experiencias culturales que el lago tiene para ofrecer. Salimos de nuestra oficina en Panajachel y nos dirigimos al colorido pueblo de Santa Catarina Palopó. En este pueblo podremos ver y aprender sobre tejidos, mantas, nahuales y otros productos locales fabricados y vendidos por los lugareños. En la plaza de este pueblo, visitamos una cafetería local donde podrás moler tu propio café y degustar los granos cultivados localmente. Una vez terminado en Santa Catarina regresaremos en nuestras cuatrimotos al pueblo de San Antonio Palopó. Visitamos una fábrica de cerámica local donde aprendemos sobre el proceso para fabricar todos estos increíbles productos. También visitamos una fábrica de chocolate local en San Antonio donde aprendemos sobre el proceso...

Visitamos una fábrica de cerámica local para conocer el proceso y ver cómo se hace. También visitamos la fábrica de chocolate local, el muelle y las tiendas junto al agua.
Durante esta parada, podemos aprender y ver tejidos locales, ropa, mantas y muchos de los productos locales hechos en esta aldea. También visitamos el centro cultural local donde podemos degustar un poco de café y chocolate locales, y finalmente ir al muelle donde podemos hacer algunas compras o tomar un aperitivo y bebidas en el restaurante frente al mar.
Nos dirigimos a Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya para tomar algunas fotos y verificamos el borde del lago con los lugareños antes de regresar a la oficina de Simoon Pana.

A very beautiful tour through the towns of San Antonio and Catarina Palopo; I had never been there, and they are very lovely. The entire journey was very peaceful, feeling the adrenaline of the ATVs, a very nice experience while learning and appreciating each of the workers in textiles, ceramics, and chocolate making. Each process involved is very interesting and impactful to know how the Mayan ancestors had such wisdom to discover how to create them. The guide was very kind, although I do not remember his name, he was always attentive to us. A very nice experience, and next time we will surely visit with more friends; we were delighted.

This was a great way to see the east side of the lake and the cultural significance of chocolate, ceramics, coffee, and weaving from the traditional Mayan cultures. It was also cool seeing the more local villages but my favorite part on the ATV villages tour was just driving through the hills and the scenic landscapes of the lake. Our tour guide sabastien was spectacular he took a lot of great photos and videos of me and my girlfriend and we actually got a private tour with just him. He was very accommodating and let us take our time at different spots as well as educated us on everything on the tour.

Our group was small and no one was in a hurry so we had a leisurely time and did fun things and even went swimming, and learned so many astounding facts about the area at the stops! Even my phone-addicted teenager liked it. The ATVs are fun to drive, but be careful. Our guide was very personable and a good guy. 5/5 overall

We had an amazing experience with Simoon Tours! From the very beginning, Iva was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful.
