Transportation was well organized and easy to access from the cruise ship and back. Buses were comfortable and the guide was accessible and very helpful. Definitely recommend.
The excursion overall was perfect! Tina met us at the meeting point and welcomed us warmly and the bus was clean and well maintained with good air conditioning. Chris the driver was very nice too. Tina explained all the trip details to us and provided us with enough information and details about Olympic site and villages around even though it wasn’t a guided tour… we highly recommend this tour for anyone interested to visit Olympia.
Many thanks1
We had a good time on our tour. We enjoyed that it was self guided so that we could look at everything at our own pace. Tina and Nikos did a great job and we enjoyed learning about Katakolon and Olympia.
Very affordable way to get to Olympia from cruise port. The taxis are about $120 round trip so for 2 people this was a good deal! They also provided information on the way there and back. Nothing too fancy basically a cheap taxi with helpful info, but worth exactly what you pay for
We really enjoyed our experience on our trip to Olympia. The guides were very helpful & we’re from the area, so were able to give us more local history. The bus was in perfect condition & the driver made sure that we got back to our cruise ship with time to spare. They gave us plenty of time to visit Olympia, the museum & spend a bit of time in the village. I would recommend this excursion to anyone.
One of our best tours after being on 17 cruises. Tina and Angel made our tour very informative and helpful. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.
This was a very large group and for the most part we were left to explore on our own. Our tour guide did provide some information, but most of her time was spent counting and recounting people.
A lot of walking and very educational. However, be prepared to stand in line to visit the museum. The museum can get extremely crowded in a short period of time.
Many thanks. when a cruise ship is in port, as with most attractions, due to popularity it will be busy!
Wonderful day thanks to our driver who was very professional and very kind from offering us coffee, water and magnets to tell us about life in Greece ++++
Many thanks for your lovely words!
A local guide who guarantees an excellent experience. Stathis was amazing and ensured that we had a memorable day. We were transported in his immaculately clean car. He guided us to the Olympia site and waited while we explored this amazing archaeological site. We skipped the shopping and instead opted for a tour of family owned olive oil pressing business and we got to taste the local products of oil and olives. Don’t pass up this private tour as it was well worth it.
