Super solid tour! Lovely scenery. Easy riding. Definitely recommend.
They canceled the tour less than 12 hours before it was scheduled. We were able to book another tour, but it was a lot more expensive. Very disappointing.
Hi Laura unfortunately the tour guide had an accident so as we couldn't find another guide we had to cancel the tour at short notice. It is the first time in 3 years that this happened. At the same time we receive also cancellation from clients at short notice of 24 hrs. Of course you will receive a full refund. Apologies for the inconvenience caused. Regards The Team
Bikes were not the right size frames for us. Helmets were so-so. Seats were hard and did not have any sort of gel covering. The route took us through a number of places that had a lot of people and traffic. Your guide would often ride far ahead
The tour takes you off the main streets to discover beautiful parks and neighborhoods you will not get to see on other tours. The guide has interesting stories/background info to convey. Our guide was very mindful of people having trouble with their bikes, or falling behind. The bikes are reasonable (not top of the line, but still pretty good), and since the tour goes a long way, you will be glad you have the extra assist. The tour winds its way around the city, through busy downtown streets, elevated views, and quiet off-street paths that offer a view of the quieter side of Edinburgh. It's not easy (like a bus tour), but it's not difficult either (easier than a hilly hiking trail). I recommend this tour for anyone who can ride a bike.
I couldnt recommend this more. It was fantastic way to see Edinburgh. A little scary riding on the wrong side, but the guide was absolutely on it to make sure we were safe. So much fun.
This was a great experience and a really cool way to see a bit more of the city than you would just roaming Royal Mile. Great fun to be out cycling in a town thats made for cyclists Mike was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide who had a lot to tell about the city and a lot of quirky tales It does cover quite a lot of ground over 2.5hrs on an ebike and its true what other reviewer had noted that there is not a lot of time for photos. You need to be a competent rider, and it is kind of bumpy and uncomfortable for the short bits that are on the cobblestones. There are no high vis vests. Come prepared with appropriate clothes and make sure you eat and drink and have been to the bathroom before you head off!
Sadly it was raining fairly hard, and worried about two little old ladies slipping on the wet streets, the owner kindly let us cancel and refunded us. The tour still left with a couple of hearty souls. Very considerate tour guide and owner. Coffee shop where you meet up had great lattes too!
Don’t even hesitate! Our guide Sebastian gave so many directions and reminded us continually to stay on the left side and was very good at keeping us safe. The tour included some city riding, as well as lovely bike paths and gorgeous scenic views, and really interesting historical information as well as as just sharing what life is like as a Scottish person today! Sebastian was delightful, anlways taking photos for us, and even stayed after the tour to chat and give us recommendations for other trips that they offer and places to see in the city. The E bike is easy to learn; if you haven’t been on one, you simply just press a button to go up and down, and it makes it effortless with the hills and wind. So fun! Dress warm, or ask your guide to bring you a jacket. I would definitely wear gloves and a hat, and expect all types of weather!
Mike was a great guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Biking was not too strenuous. Great trip around the sights outside of the city centre.
Awesome way to cover Edinburgh and get some exercise! Our guides were phenomenal and would highly recommend this!
