It turned out our family was the only one booked for the tour so we had a very tailored experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and humorous and answered our many questions. We had already visited some sights so moved on quickly to others. It was good to learn about the local history and the relatively recent changes to the city. Would recommend a walking tour to get a sense of Aarhus.
Hi again Thank you very much for the kind words. Im very happy you enjoyed the tour. Best regards Rune
This tour was a very good start to a day in Aarhus, it allowed us to see the highlights and have time on our own. Guide was a local who was personable and knowledgeable. He provided a good insight in the history and places to see.
We were greeted by archaeology student Emil, who trusted us that it was his first trip alone, so he might just need to check some facts along the way. Emil did it super well, we were only 4 in the group, so there was time and space to be able to ask, exchange memories / facts etc. It was a super nice trip, and we are absolutely sure that it can only be good trips in sheep with Emil.
Very enthousiastic and competent guide who managed to give us a good view on the history of Aarhus in just 2 hours
It was a nice and informative walk. We went to the major tourist spots like Church of our lady, Art deco in Aarhus railway station, The latin Quarter, etc.
The local guide Roberto showed us around the city and told us in a lively way about the city’s history from Viking times to today. Can really be recommended!
I’m sorry to say but this was not a good experience. We arrived at the meeting point and our guide told us that the tour would be both is Danish and English. We had booked for an English tour only. Apparently, according to our guide, this was an error from the tour provider. Our guide was good but he spent much more time speaking Danish than English. He only provided us short English summaries. We left before the end of the tour and we felt rather frustrated by the whole experience.
Super good and exciting trip with our guide August! He had a great knowledge about the city and even though we live in Aarhus, we learned a lot! Exciting trip and great to be a tourist in your own city. Can warmly recommend!! Our guide was passionate and glad to share his knowledge and there was plenty of opportunity to ask questions and go into dialogue! A must for anyone interested in the city...
Roberto knows Aarhus perfectly well and is very enthusiastic about its lovely population. We very much recomend the tour with him. Francianne and Bernhard Switzerland
I can't say enough about Thor and his absolute love of Aarhus. His deep roots in the city make his historical accounts personal. He went out of his way to make it a great tour even though it was a cold, raw day. Would definitely recommend Aarhus Culture Walk!
