Empezaremos el tour en el siglo XIV, dando un vistazo a las ruinas de la gran Tenochtitlan.
Entraremos a ver la máxima construcción eclesiástica de la ciudad de México para apreciar su arquitectura y afectaciones que ha sufrido a través del tiempo.
Apreciación del espacio conocido como Zócalo, la más importante plaza de México
Entraremos a conocer la primera iglesia en la ciudad de México
Entraremos a conocer un palacio del siglo XVI, muy famoso por su decoración morisca.
Conoceremos uno de los más bellos edificios construido en el siglo XX, daremos un vistazo a su lobby y sabremos algo de su historia.
Veremos el exterior del Antiguo Palacio de Minería, conocerás mucha historia en éste lugar.
Conoceremos el Palacio de Correos, la Quinta casa de Correos, un lugar super instagrameable.
Nuestro guía historiador nos hablará sobre la historia de éste magnífico Palacio, lo conoceremos por fuera y daremos un vistazo al lobby para conocer más sobre su historia.
Pasearemos por un momento por el más grande parque del centro de la ciudad, conoceremos historiad y leyendas.
Visitaremos la entrada al museo donde podrán apreciar la arquitectura art decò del edificio y algunas importantes expresiones del arte popular de la ciudad. En este punto termina el recorrido por si optan visitar el museo.

Our walking tour of Mexico City’s historic Centro with Joss gave us a wonderful introduction to the cultures that shaped this place through time. Our guide’s background as an historian and her passion for her city brought different eras to life as we visited sites and buildings that represented their time. We received a solid foundation on the history of Mexico City, as well as delightful surprise visits to places like the Grand Hotel with its extraordinaryTiffany glass ceiling. In addition, we were able to customize the tour to include personal priorities like a a visit to Diego Rivera’s stunning mural series inside the Ministry of Education. High value day, and a legacy of extraordinary memories.

Joss was a spectacular guide, she passionately explained every detail of Mexican history and towns. The tour was private and I was able to talk to her and ask her many questions. Joss knows a lot and I recommend her to learn about the anthropology of the native peoples.

This tour is perfect for people interested in the history, culture and traditions of Xochilmilco as well as the present day lifestyle of those who live and work in these canals. Our guide was knowledgeable and very pleasant and she was responsive to our interests for this private tour. If you want something other than what the party boats have to offer, we recommend this tour. Also the lunch was a great experience!
