Itinerario

North End GLUTEN FREE tour gem. Only two of us were gluten-free & we’re totally catered too. HOW NICE! The other seven enjoyed too. Lots of food & lots of history! Glad we booked it!
I came to the food tour with my family and we all agree that mostly accurate food tour was a great and delicious experience! Shoutout to the tour guide Thatcher who focused on relatable parts of North End history while also keeping the tour light and interactive. My mom doesn’t speak English well but Thatcher was very attentive and willing to repeat or clarify anything she was unclear about which was super nice! The food was delicious, especially pumpkin raviolis at Bencottos.
Had a great 3 hours exploring the Boston’s North End, and Thatcher was an absolute joy! The food was incredible ( my favorite was the lobster roll!) and the Thatcher was hilarious during the walking part of the tour as he told us the history of the area. Well worth the price, I would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone looking into doing a food tour in Boston.
Such a great tour! Thatcher is truly an amazing guide. He’s knowledgeable, fun, and has a way of making Boston’s history feel like a story instead of a lecture. I’ve been in the area for a few years now and still came away with facts I’d never heard before! I also had a dietary restriction going in and was a little nervous about it, but Thatcher handled it without missing a beat. Now of course the most important part: the food. Generous portions, absolutely delicious, and I loved the variety. It also helps that the owners at each spot were super friendly and welcoming! The tour was around 3 hours, and the walking was broken up in between each food and info stop, so it’s definitely doable even if you’re not a big walker. We had a group of about 10 people and Thatcher did a great job making everyone feel included the whole time, it never felt like you were just tagging along in a crowd. I also found it pretty funny that at multiple points in the tour we had other tourists trying to listen in, he’s just that good of a storyteller! I’ve done another north end food tour before and it doesn’t even hold a candle (…or a lantern 😉) to the Mostly Accurate tour. Seriously if you’re considering doing a tour, just do it!
Thank you for your wonderful review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and all the delicious food. I do my best to keep the stories entertaining, so it is amazing to hear how much you liked them! I hope you'll join us again for one of our other Mostly Accurate adventures!
Went on a group food trip with Thatcher and absolutely loved this experience! We got to try a bunch of different meals, as well as visit some local stores - all accompanied with Thatcher's in-depth stories about the area and food we were trying, and his sharp jokes set up the mood for the entire walk! Pumpkin ravioli was my favorite of the day! Highly recommend if you've tried some guided tours in the area and they just made you yawn, or if you're new to Boston and unsure of what activity to choose to ensure it's not just another boring and rushed run around the same spots everybody else is seeing. Good for a family activity - he even put in an effort to accommodate the needs of my friends with allergies/dietary restrictions. Thank you Thatcher!

Fantastic tour with delicious food. Tour guide was energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly. The guide had everything setup ahead of time for seamless stops at different places so we could enjoy the food and atmosphere of the city. Was a great way to see a historic district of Boston and enjoy local and interesting cuisine. Highly recommend for tourists and locals alike to find something new.
