Descripción
Todos los años, de julio a noviembre, las ballenas jorobadas provienen de Antártida a nuestras cálidas aguas. Una migración esencial en su ciclo de vida (socialización, reproducción, nacimiento y primeros meses de vida del ternero). Polinesia es uno de los pocos lugares del mundo donde es posible nadar con estos mamíferos marinos. Nuestro deseo es hacerle vivir una experiencia única y memorable. Haremos todo lo posible para cumplirlos. Sin embargo, es Es importante recordar que no podemos controlar a la Madre Naturaleza, cada día es diferente. El lanzamiento no está garantizado, nuestra prioridad es el respeto de las ballenas jorobadas y la seguridad de nuestros clientes. Todos los elementos deben estar presentes (comportamiento de los cetáceos, condiciones climáticas, etc.) para que la guía lo autorice. También estamos equipados con un hidrófono que nos permite escuchar la magnífica canción de estos gigantes del mar desde el bote.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Un vehículo marcado como Centro de actividades de Moorea lo estará esperando en la salida del ferry o frente a la recepción de su hotel/casa de huéspedes. Para información, para recogida, estaremos en el Sofitel a las 7:50 o 12:30, en el Manava a las 8:05 o 12:40, en el Hilton Moorea a las 8:15 o 12 :45 p.m.

Magnificent outing to meet the whales! Michaele our guide and Mahai the boat captain were top-notch, super kind and a well of information regarding the whales ;) A long wait before experiencing one of the most spectacular encounters of my life by swimming with two whales less than 2m from us! Memories etched for a long time. Thank you infinitely for this experience.

After encountering dolphins, a whale was quickly located. The dream swim did not take place (since it is the beginning of the season, there were 3 other boats before us and the rules are well respected👏. When our turn arrived, the whale just happened to decide to make a run for it...) but we saw it very well diving several times, jumping, and slapping its tail. In short: the emotion was already there! 😊 We also learned a huge amount about these cetaceans because the guide was very knowledgeable. So as not to leave us wanting more, they offered us, since there was time left, a quick dip in the lagoon with the sharks and rays. You cannot control nature, but the team gave everything to try to offer us the maximum.

This is by far the best life experience you will ever spend your hard earned money on. We entered this trip in the very beginning of the whale season knowing that our chances were limited, I believe late August and September are the best times for the most whales & better possibility for swims with them & we still saw 2 whales. This crew is an obviously respected crew and the other boats gave our captain a chance to get us in the water. Once we entered the water our guide, Millie, worked 110% to get us to the whales multiple times, swimming full out trying to find them. It’s extremely hard as the whales go under us and stay just out of distance but we all swan our hearts out full of adrenaline thanks to our awesome guide. We saw the whales several time from above the water but underwater the visibility was tough and eventually the sun set but still everyone had an absolute amazing experience and our crew could not have worked any hard to max our every second of our tour. Pick your boat wisely! These guys are Amazing!

They are playing hard to get, but our passionate guides and captains do their utmost to ensure a successful outing and a wonderful experience for you. Too expensive to waste time waiting for a poor whale calf spotted from afar among 10 boats chasing it.....They shouldn't offer this activity during this season to see almost nothing for 4 hours. Half the price would be more than enough....but at this price, we really felt like we had been ripped off!! The first boat from different clubs that arrives at the site is the first served. We were the 5th boat, which is to say it was a lost cause from the start. It's to protect the whales, I certainly understand that, but not at the expense of our wallet.....Half the price during this season would have been more honest..... After this hunt, they took us to the Tipaniers to swim with blacktip reef sharks and stingrays.... things we had already done and are very common in Polynesia. It is better to do any other activity than this one, frankly.....
Ia Orana, Dommage de mettre un avis avec un pseudo en chiffre, ainsi je ne sais pas qui tu es et ne peux meme pas savoir si tu étais sur un de mes tours ou sur un bateau d'un collègue. En effet nous sommes plusieurs sociétés à partir de Moorea Activities Center donc certaines personnes peuvent confondre. Nous sommes une des rares sociétés qui ne faisons des tours que les matins pour le mois de juillet pour maximiser les chances de les voir et de passer du temps avec elles lorsque cela est possible et nous sommes dans les moins cher, donc je suis tres surprise de ton commentaire. D'autant plus que vous n'êtes pas venu me voir en direct pour exprimer votre mécontentement, ainsi on aurai pu dialoguer et surtout j'aurais été sur que cet avis nous concerne.... Là je ne suis vraiment pas sur au vu du prix que nous pratiquons et cette semaine effectivement 2 fois on les as vu sans pouvoir se mettre à l'eau avec elles, mais ce n'étais pas pour économiser les baleines mais parce qu'elles étaient en mouvement et donc c'est dans ce cas inutile de vous mettre à l'eau car les baleines nagent tellement vite que c'est inutile. Concernant l'arrêt pour voir les raies et requins c'est pour finir sur une note positive, beaucoup de personne la souhaite, de notre coté nous ne la garantissons pas, car c'est priorité aux baleines, mais vu que l'on rentre beaucoup plus tard en ce moment (entre 13h30 et 15h) au lieu de 12h30 pour maximiser les chances de les voir alors cet arrêt est un petit plus pour finir sur une note positive. Sur les tours où on a pu les voir sans se mettre à l'eau, j'ai des personnes qui sont venu me voir pour nous remercier et qui était ravis d'avoir pu les voir en mouvements. C'est pour cette raison que je suis surprise de ton avis.
A real scam. Excursion went ahead even though the whales had absolutely not arrived. Bottom line: a simple boat tour with nonexistent supervisors who were glued to each other. Even the locals laughed when they heard the name of our outing. Only a few dolphins were seen thanks to the vigilance of a client. A service provider focused on profit, without any respect for customers or nature.
Ia Orana Magalie, Nous sommes tres surpris de cette avis négatif et virulent que tu n'hésites pas à publier plusieurs fois via des réseaux différents alors qu'en face que ce soit auprès du capitaine et du guide ou même à ton retour auprès du secretariat tu n'es pas venu nous parler directement. Tu as fais le tour Mardi avec nous, et c'est vrai que mardi nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir des baleines, que ce soit nous ou les autres bateaux de Moorea, mais les Baleines sont bien arrivé puisque nous avons fait un tour Lundi où nous avons pu nous mettre à l'eau avec elles et nous avons fait un tour mercredi où nous avons également pu nous mettre à l'eau avec elles. Nous sommes en début de saison, donc elles sont moins nombreuses qu'au mois de septembre ou début octobre, mais tu ne peux pas dire que c'est une escroquerie car si nous avons maintenue le tour c'est parce qu'elles sont là. De plus tu es mal placé pour nous parler d'escroquerie car contrairement à beaucoup d'autres prestataires nous ne faisons des tours que les matins en debut de saison de façon à prendre notre temps, pouvoir faire la queue si nous voyons les baleines (car les mises à l'eau ne sont possible que 3 bateaux par 3 bateaux) et donc pour que les gens ne soit pas déçu nous prenons notre temps et rentrons sans hésiter entre 13 h30 et 14h30 voir 15h comme aujourd'hui (au lieu de 12h30) pour soit les chercher encore plus longtemps soit prendre le temps de faire des mises à l'eau pendant que les autres prestataires rentre le midi pour aller chercher leurs autres clients de l'après midi. et cela a encore porté ses fruits aujourd'hui. Donc la prochaine fois que tu te poses des questions au lieu de tenir de telle propos n'hésites pas à parler directement aux personnes, on aurait pu t'expliquer (bien que je sache que notre guide vous a deja expliqué cela). Donc désolés que Mardi vous n'ayez pas pu voir de Baleine, mais c'est la Nature, chaque jours est différents, nous ne sommes pas au Zoo, mais si nous étions focalisé sur les profits comme tu le dis, nous ferions des tours l'après midi au vu du nombre de reservation que nous refusons pour le bien de nos clients. (que nous respectons justement !!!)
This experience was absolutely speechless. It was my second try, as the first one with a different company where I spent double amount of money was not successful (which is fine as its a wild nature) but the whole approach and experience, educational side - was much better here, very enthusiastic and enjoyable especially from the experienced guide with great jokes Kevin and the captain Mahai. The GoPro video from the whole experience its included, as there is a focus on „focus and enjoy on what is in front of you rather than trying to make the perfect video shot missing the whole magical present moment“. I loved that very much, thank you for this magical and memorable experience, will be back this year for sure!

We had a great time with the boat crew and swam in the open sea, hearing and seeing a whale. Back on the boat, we saw her, she made fools. It was magical. Unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for coming out.

The Captain and our guide, Kevin, did a fantastic job ensuring that each and every participant had a great time on our excursion. They were experienced and knowledgeable about the whale migration around Moorea. Even though we did not see a whale on our trip, it was exciting to be in the water with them and to hear their singing at close range. They made sure that each of us felt safe throughout the entire tour. The Moorea Activities Center staff were responsive and timely at all times. We would recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Moorea during the whale season. This excursion was a great value compared to other similar tours.

We booked two activities — one tour We booked two tours. One on jet ski and one for watching/swimming with whales — and everything was absolutely perfect! The organization was at the top and the excursions were supervised very professionally. The whole team was not only friendly, but also passionate and always ready to share their knowledge of the underwater world. Whales, turtles, stingrays, sharks and many more were there😃🐋🐢🦈🐠 We will take these wonderful memories with us in our luggage and look back on them with a smile during the winter months, warm around a fireplace. A BIG mauruuru and chick to the whole team! 💙

Great experience in the open ocean for the whale trip! A beautiful ending with turtles and rays!! Thanks to Mahai and Kevin for their approach and philosophy of the marine environment... My 24-year-old son was delighted Super pair:)
