Tour de Medio Día al Abismo de Macocha y Las Cuevas de Punkva
Descripción
En medio día visitará la iglesia de estilo barroco, explorará las cuevas de Punkva y el abismo de Macocha y, si queda tiempo, probará los platos tradicionales checos. Las cuevas de Punkva son una de las cinco cuevas grandes en el Karst de Moravia cerca de BRNO en la República Checa que están abiertas al público durante todo el año. Parte del recorrido por las cuevas es a pie y la segunda parte es en bote eléctrico lo que la hace única. Cuando nos encontremos te proporcionaré un archivo AUDIO (vía Whats Up) en inglés describiendo la visita guiada ya que formarás parte de una visita guiada en checo. El tour es seguro, iluminado y por lo tanto no hay necesidad de preocuparse por ninguna dificultad.

Disfrute de una popular excursión de medio día a las cuevas de Punkva y al abismo de Macocha, que se encuentran a unos 33 km al noreste de BRNO. Combina un poco de arquitectura en un pequeño pueblo de Křtiny con una hermosa iglesia barroca. El pueblo se encuentra en el límite de la reserva natural del Karst de Moravia. Es un pueblo muy, muy pequeño con una ENORME iglesia barroca. Es realmente impactante cuando conduces hasta el pueblo y ves este gigantesco lugar de peregrinación barroco, la Iglesia de la Santísima Virgen María y otros edificios que componen este monasterio premonstratense, dominando positivamente el paisaje. Inmediatamente se sabe por qué se la conoce como la "perla de Moravia". También hay un osario debajo de la iglesia con doce calaveras con la letra "T" pintada.
Luego visitaremos el Karst de Moravia lleno de cuevas, visitaremos el abismo de Macocha, la Cueva de Punkva, (ABIERTA TODO EL AÑO) donde se unirá a una visita guiada de una hora de duración en checo (puede descargar la traducción Inglés a la entrada de las cuevas). Asegúrese de llevar ropa de abrigo ya que la temperatura durante todo el año es de más de 6 °C. Al final del tour hay una bonita sorpresa para ti, pero no te lo digo. Aquellos que disfrutan de una caminata fácil de 20 minutos pueden caminar de regreso al estacionamiento principal.

Helena was a great host. Very friendly and kind. Knows a lot about the area and was very flexible. I brought my dad to Europe to have surgery so I was travelling by myself while not at the hospital. I really enjoyed having someone to spend time with and tell me about the area.

Helen was our tour guide. I can't say enough about how fantastic she was. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the caves. She ensured we had all our needs met and questions answered. I would book any tour with Helen again! We had a delightful traditional lunch and she gave us a ride to another place and included history/info continuously as we went. Hela was an amazing host, she is very knowledgeable about Brno and the Czech Republic at large, relaying interesting facts along the entire trip. Every part of this tour was fantastic. The trip through the mountains was beautiful and a welcome break from the city. On the way up to the abyss, Helena, the guide through most of the tour, was incredibly nice and told us many interesting details about the area and its history. We also stopped at a really impressive church hidden in a sleepy village and where she let us roam around and take pictures. The abyss and cave were beautiful and the boat ride was a really fun way to explore even more of the cave. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Brno.

The best part of the tour was actually the experience with the guide Helen. She is very personable and knowledgeable of the area. She fitted the tour to my needs and made the whole experience one I will definitely remember. The caves are beautiful and I highly recommend visiting them, but the additional information provided by Helen made the entire tour worth all the time spent. Also her English is impeccable.
