Comienza tu visita en los jardines del Alcázar y admira los estanques, flores y plantas, mientras aprendes sobre su fisionomía e historia. Visita lugares como el Paseo de los Reyes para hacer una foto del monumento más famoso. Poco a poco, dirígete al interior, visitando los baños de Doña Leonor de Guzmán, creados al estilo árabe en el siglo XIV. Al final de la visita, entra en la sala de mosaicos y admira la belleza de estos mosaicos originales hechos en la época romana. Maravíllate ante un sarcófago romano en perfecto estado de conservación. * Tour disponible en español a las 11.30 H en la Puerta del Alcázar, de martes a sábado *Please Note: The Alcázar will open its doors on 16 June 2026. As restoration works are still ongoing, the visit will take place in the areas that are accessible at that time. This circumstance will not affect either the duration or the price of the visit.

Alcazar closed for renovation, but we were not informed! Very few and uninteresting explanations received. We did not like it at all.
La ringraziamo per le sue gentili parole. Ci dispiace che non abbia potuto visitare l'intero monumento. Attualmente l'Alcázar è oggetto di lavori di restauro, come indicato sul nostro sito web; pertanto la visita guidata si svolge esclusivamente nelle aree aperte al pubblico. Come le avrà spiegato la guida, il Comune non ci ha ancora comunicato la data di riapertura completa dell'edificio. Ci scusiamo per il disagio arrecato e speriamo che abbiate comunque potuto apprezzare il resto della visita.
You must inform travelers that the Alcàzar of Cordoba is currently closed for restoration and that the gardens are not open to visitors either. A change is offered, after purchase, with a visit to the royal baths and patios, which while cute, have nothing to do with the Alcàzar.

39€ for guided tour Eventour of the Alcazar. Alcazar closed on D-Day. We could only see the garden (free visit) and the califal baths (visit at 6€)... I made a complaint but no action was taken.

The site was much more meaningful with a guide to explain the importance of the artifacts. Gardens were beautiful.
Our tour in Córdoba was an unforgettable experience! My parents and I had the pleasure of visiting the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, and it was truly a treat to be guided by María del Carmen — a passionate historian who brought the site to life with her knowledge and storytelling. She didn’t just walk us through the Alcázar, she took us on a journey through the rich, layered history of Córdoba itself — from pre-Roman times through to the Christian monarchs. Her insights into the different cultures that have shaped the city added so much depth to our visit. We left feeling inspired and informed — and with a deeper appreciation for the city’s incredible heritage. Highly recommend this tour and María del Carmen as a guide!

Recommended visit 100%, book tickets and tour at once. Much better during afternoon hours, fewer people and calmer, close at 8pm Our guide Rafa (the brujuladerafa), excellent, great knowledgeable about history and details, enjoyable, fun, correct....a 10.
