Visita guiada al monumento más destacado de Córdoba, la Mezquita-Catedral. Ha sido declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Seguiremos con la visita guiada a la antigua mezquita que fue construida por el emir Abderramán I y las siguientes ampliaciones hasta la época de Almanzor. Tras la conquista de la ciudad por el ejército cristiano la Mezquita se convirtió en Catedral y ocupó varias naves debido a la ampliación del Califa Al-Hakam II para celebraciones litúrgicas. Más tarde se construyó el actual crucero de la Catedral.

Viator very professional and kept me well informed leading up to our visit. Our English language guide Maria was excellent - not just relating facts about the Mesquita but relating all the history with passion, using visual aids and involving our group of 4 with questions to make us think why the cycle of events took place. Made the whole experience very memorable.
The tour was pleasant and well-structured. The structure itself is truly impressive and definitely worth a visit. Of course it was not that mega interesting for our children but all the more so for adults. Especially the church in the middle of the mosque is something very special.
Honestly, beautiful; the guide, an exceptional and warm person who, when explaining, did so with excellent rigor and care in the vocabulary with which she described this architectural jewel. The entrance, the security guards, kind when accessing the wonderful building. Another thing to commend is how easy it is to locate the guide. An unrepeatable experience for tourism in that city. Highly recommended for young and old.
Our tour guide for a small group was Anna. She was EXCELLENT. Knowledgeable, funny, concise, and easy to understand. Would recommend her without reservation and this smaller group size was perfect for this venue (Cordoba Mosque Cathedral) because it was much easier to hear with the echoes and other visitor groups. Very interesting and learning experience.

Really excellent. Knowledgeable guide who is an archeologist herself. Lots of history and subtle nuance of the architecture and art and history shared. Also gave us lots of additional time to find our own highlights while being available for discussion. Top-rated tour in my book… and I have done a lot of tours.
I was utterly disappointed with visit. It was dark. Had very little color. Nothing like you see in brochures or even the picture on this review site. The guide was excellent. The length of visit was on target. The cathedral was fine.
