This tour was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Juan was awesome. He gave us a great overview of the history of Panama on the way to the slot sanctuary. The sloth sanctuary is smaller than expected but it was nice to see the slots. The best part of the trip was the boat ride with Juan and the boat driver. They made sure that we saw all of the wildlife in Lake Gatun. We saw three different types of monkeys, a sloth, iguanas, and a small crocodile. The white faced monkeys were so cute and to fun to interact with. There was an entire family of them! It was great. We also got to drive past the huge boats on the Panama canal. After the boat ride, he took us to a beautiful area to have lunch and relax. On the way back to the hotel he drove us through Fort Clayton and by the military cemetery because he knew my grandfathered was in the army in Panama during WWII. It was a great day. We really appreciated Juan and the extra mile he went to make sure that our experience was memorable.
Juan, our tour guide, made this a trip to remember. He went out of his way to point out monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and crocodiles during our tour. His tour of the Gamboa area was also very enlightening and endearing, since I am a former resident of Gamboa. I highly recommend Juan. You won’t be disappointed.
This company is absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. We saw 3 types of monkeys, sloths not only in the sanctuary but on the grounds around it, butterflies, frogs, and orchids. The guide, Hector, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. The driver, Diego, was also friendly and a great driver. He even went way out of his way to bring back my glasses that I left in the car. All members of the team wired together to make sure I got my glasses back which I really needed and I can’t thank them enough for that. All staff communicated well as to the pick up time and answered questions quickly pre-tour when I reached out to them. We even got lucky and had the tour all to ourselves. I’d absolutely book with this company again and I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful experience!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly delighted to hear that you had such an amazing experience with us. Héctor and Diego will be very happy to know that their knowledge, friendliness, and dedication made your day so special. Our whole team was glad to help you recover your glasses — we always do everything we can to take care of our guests. It’s great to know you enjoyed the wildlife sightings, from the different species of monkeys to the sloths, butterflies, frogs, and orchids. And having the tour all to yourselves is always a special bonus! We truly appreciate your kind words and the time you took to share your experience. It was an honor to host you, and we would be thrilled to welcome you again on your next visit to Panama. Warm regards, Juan Manakin Adventures Panama

High quality, modern and comfortable transport. Knowledgeable and informative guide. A great mixture of activities, all of which delivered more than promised. A great day out overall.
Our tour guide Juan made this a fantastic tour. He was able to spot wildlife and made sure that we were able to see birds, monkeys and sloths as well as giving us some history of the canal area. He was so enjoyable to be with on the tour. It was a great day.
