¡Bienvenido a nuestra granja urbana! Apikol es una destilería de agricultura urbana ubicada en el centro de Quebec. Las visitas guiadas están a cargo de uno de los copropietarios apicultor y destilador. Quedarás fascinado por el mundo de las abejas durante la observación de las abejas trabajando en nuestra colmena (4 estaciones). Después, descubrirás cómo elaboramos nuestros alcoholes artesanales a partir de nuestra miel. Todo termina con la degustación de nuestro alcohol.

Itinerario
El tour de 60 minutos incluye: • Visita acompañada de un guía (uno del propietario) cubriendo la interpretación de la abeja, la extracción de la miel y su transformación, fermentación, destilación, crianza, formulación y embotellado. (45 minutos) • Degustación de 3 productos, dirigida por uno de nuestros expertos, entre ellos hidromiel espumoso y 2 licores entre nuestros 4, a elegir según sus preferencias. (Posibilidad de añadir otros por un pequeño suplemento). (Duración: 15 minutos)

A really interesting experience led by the owner who was really passionate about what the business was trying to achieve. We learnt a lot about bees! And indeed the alcohol was excellent. A very interesting tour - an absolute recommend!
Apikol is an excellent visit! Zachary gave us an impressive presentation about how are raised in the city. He educated us about how the honey is harvested and used to create excellent beverages. The distillery is spotless! Our tasting was another excellent experience and it was hard to choose just one thing to bring home so we chose more including jars of honey. We recommend this!

I absolutely loved this tour and tasting; learned so much about bees and beekeeping as well as all the processes for making alcohol with honey!! Our guide was a perfect teacher, and the tasting inspired me to purchase a bottle of their sparkling mead to bring home. Highly recommend!!
Very informative! The tastings at the end were great. They even made a mocktail for my daughter which she loved. All and all a great experience! Highly recommend.

This was an informative and fun tour, Fred was knowledgable and explained everything very clearly in excellent English. We really enjoyed all his analogies when explaining about the bee life cycle, bee hives and honey production. The distillery process was explained very well whilst looking at the processing equipment. At the end we tasted 3 of their products and had the chance to buy their alcoholic drinks as well as jars of their locally produced honey. Many thanks Fred for an excellent way to spend a rainy afternoon in Quebec City😊
