Castle was interesting and had multiple parts to see. Good video to start. Plenty of time for exploring and pictures. Guide was fine.

Do not book with them

Today 7/26/2026 nobody even told the coach to meet us at the terminal so we were late going. Then neither boss had a tour guide like was promised in the brochure. I would like a refund for the excursion because your company failed to comply with their stated description. The company then blamed the drivers for not being tour guides. What actually happened is the company oversold the excursion and did not leave room for a guide (all seats including next to driver) were full with cruise passengers).

The experience was great; however, it was advertised as having a guide, which it did not. The driver was very nice, yet made it clear that he was not a guide. If you are looking for a guided tour, this isn’t the right excursion.

Highlands tour of castle and lake worth seeing

The pickup from the cruise terminal worked out great; our driver Rab was standing right in front of the door with a sign. We were traveling in a minibus with only 1 other family (8 people in total). At the car, our German-speaking tour guide Anna joined us right away. On the way to Stirling, she started explaining things right away. In Stirling, we then had a good 1.5 hours of free time. You can decide to see the castle or the town. From there, we continued to Kilmahog, where we had some time to feed the Highland cows. From there, we continued on to Callander for lunch and ice cream. Our last stop was then Loch Lomond. Unfortunately, we could only spend a short time there, as the traffic was quite heavy and we wanted to arrive back at the terminal on time. The tour was very worth seeing and interesting. We would have liked to have had more time at the lake, but unfortunately that could not be changed. Rab and Anna were great.

Fantastic tailored tour.

We were picked up on time in a comfortable SUV with four other guests. The guide was friendly and entertaining. The tour was well planned with plenty of time to explore. The guide was keen to meet any wishes, eg. My hubby wanted to but local wool - which he did along with wool for spinning! A great day.

extremely disappointing

The driver or guide never showed. First I had arrived for the original schedule of 08.00 and when there was no-one, I called and was told that an email had been sent for the change to 09.00 ( I have no wifi on the ship !!) When at 09.00 still no one showed up, I called again and at the same time THE BUS LEFT THE BUSPARKING LOT... I was told that I should then take a taxi to meet up with the bus AT MY EXPENSE, which I refused.

Respuesta del operador

Good Morning. The guide that was operating the tour walked around the area where you were to meet, and was calling your name. No one responded. You called the emergency contact after the departure time and the tour had departed. We were unable to call the coach back. If you and called eelier then we ma ahve been able to help resolve the issue

Terrible

I waited for your representative , who never showed at the spot where ALL touroperator reps were waiting with name signs. After calling the UK number it was suggested that I take a taxi ( at my cost) to the first stop of the bus i.e a castle. This I refused, so I will claim back my amount paid. Sorry , but a shameful experience

Respuesta del operador

Good Morning All other guests joined the tour, and taking a taxi to teh 1st stop was not unreasonable, as you failed to join the tour at the Meeting Point

Best tour yet

We read some reviews the day we went and expected a less than good experience. But it was great! They were there on time very organized, dressed in Scottish kilts and very knowledgable. We got everywhere that was scheduled. Sterling castle and Loch Lomond were awesome! We also had a great time shopping and having lunch in a small town. Discovered by talking to them they are locals and just acquired this company from the people with the less than good reviews and it was our best tour this cruise yet. Would highly recommend this tour and the people.

Sterling castle

The visit to Sterling Castle is interesting. We were less satisfied with the fact that we were taken to a store and pasture to feed cows. Absolutely not interesting. Then too much time in Callander. A short lunch stop is better; there is nothing to see in the village. We were taken to the worst possible location around Loch Lomond. The stop was at shops and even more coffee shops. No need for it. Driver did not understand; there are so many shops was his answer. We come for nature. If we had still been in time to take a boat trip; at least we would have seen something. So we have not seen this very beautiful Loch. We also drove through magically beautiful landscapes, but unfortunately nowhere a stop. This is only good as a means of transport to Sterling. Definitely not recommended if you want to see the particularly beautiful nature of Scotland.

Stirling Castle / Loch Lomond

It was good, though the weather was bad :-). Our driver/ excursion guide, Robert, was knowledgeable and friendly, but had a strong Scottish accent such that it was difficult for me, a native English speaker to understand much of what he said. For those forthcoming English is a second language, I strongly suggest asking for a translator.
